Here's my thoughts:

Judaism: blue (because of the blue thread that was to remind them to keep the commandments, and also blue is a "loyal" color).
Islam: Green.
Christianity: red (blood of Christ)
Zoroastrianism: white
Hinduism: yellow (I don't know why)

and so on....

Christians, separately or as members of churches, operate thousands of homeless shelters, food & clothing drives, soup kitchens, and aid organizations, nationwide, with no similar effort by atheists and atheist organizations. If atheists are as superior as they endlessly claim, why don't they care more for their fellow human beings?

Instead, in an obvious attempt to distract from their own inaction, many ridicule, insult, and belittle, the very Christians and churches who are doing something - cowardly doing so knowing most Christians won't respond in kind.

In my opinion, neither group can claim superiority over the other without tangible and substantial proof of that. Christians certainly have that in the things mentioned above; therefore stand head and shoulders above atheists in my book.

I have one question.

This is the song:
Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world
red and yellow black and white, they are precious in his sight
Jesus loves the children of the world

this is my question:
Where do the brown kids fit into this equation?
Are hispanics just left out

. I'm clarifying my last question. The teacher did not misconstrue the Bible at all. But she was showing us what popular culture did with it, which was to totally misinterpret it.

I just found it odd that people were saying how "dangerous" it was for such stuff to be on tv. What did they mean, "dangerous"? Why would it be dangerous?

Okay. So I recently read this essay, and it outlined a ton of bible verses that aren't even looked at anymore. And I'm wondering why no one follows them but follows others so severely. Like, if God said both verses are equally important, why are women wearing pants? They're equally old, God set them both down...why do people follow one, not the other? I'm not insulting religion, I'm just curious why some rules get dropped out with the times and others don't. One of the verses was "And women shall not wear the clothes of men (aka pants?) nor men the clothes of women for it is abomination", and then that anti gay excuse one also says gay people are abomination. If God says they're both abominations...yanno, whatever information you can offer up about this. Throw it out there.

I ask this for ALL people, not just Bible believers.

The reason I'm asking, is that in my Apocalypse class, we watched a tv show where they had totally misinterpreted the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse. A lot of people were saying that they felt that was so "dangerous."

I can't imagine how this is dangerous unless you believe in the literal 4 horsemen.
It seemed odd to me for students to be expressing a personal religious view though in a state college. That's why I'm asking.

Why dont you all convert to a different religion once a week? or once a month? You will gain valuable knowledge about the others and you may find a better one than you are already in. I know its a little trouble, but it may be worth the experience.

Let's say because he wore a pink robe one day or because he was always hanging out with other men who wore robes and sandals. How would he defend these accusations?

i need your guys help. i believe in god but im young and i dont really understand the bible when it says let heaven be as it is on earth. ive been trying to understand it but i cant make heads or tails of it. it says that heaven is the perfect paradise, but it says its also the same as earth. earth is no such paradise (its a perfect example of the old saying "this place is great if you get rid of all the people.") there is so much killing, hate, pain, suffering, genocide, and just plain general bad (for lack of a better word) stuff going on here.if heavan is like this man i dont want do spend all of forever there
