it seems like she listened and read about islam and then decided its the right way to go, unlike many others, she gave it a chance.
i think many ppl are making a bad image out of islam, she went beyond it to see whats really there.

Perhaps she has found what she has been looking for. Many in the United States convert to Islam just as there are many who join other religions. If this is what she wants, more power to her.
(1.9 billion Muslims around the world, and still growing)

Many Americans convert to Islam because politically it is very similar to the way America as a whole practices Christianity, while at the same time the theology and philosophy is something a little different that they wish to explore and discover for themselves.

she converted by being truly touched by a religion something that really made sense to her she found what she believed to be her reason for life. She is actually very accomplished, some of us should look up to her, since many of us don't understand why we're here. I appuld her because she was brave enough to look beyond the surface which MANY people in THIS world cannot do.

She is young and naive. The actual conversion isn't that difficult, but the life afterward will turn her on her head. She didn't think that much about the social and women's rights consequences (to start).
