. I'm clarifying my last question. The teacher did not misconstrue the Bible at all. But she was showing us what popular culture did with it, which was to totally misinterpret it.

I just found it odd that people were saying how "dangerous" it was for such stuff to be on tv. What did they mean, "dangerous"? Why would it be dangerous?

Dangerous because we don't want people believing a lie.

People tend to assume that others will react to things the same way they will. I wouldn't even think of it, because I don't take anything on TV at face value. Apparently there are many who do.

Anything that does not support a thought system is seen as an attack on it.

They see it as attacking their thought system, so it seems dangerous to them.

I think there is no god whoever wrote the bible meant one thing and they think there is a god and so i dont really believe what it is they were saying
