Why does God love us so much and send his only son to save us but yet in the history of human being he never bother appear to the mass or show us some solid proof he exists? He loves us so much and want to forgive our sins yet he doesn't do the most simple thing and appear then let us work our way towards him instead of making it hard for us and suffer...

There are many other religions, Islam religion, Hinduism, Judaism, Muslim, Atheisms that is not a religion or faith. If you can think of other religions discuss the also, I just want to know why you pick that particular religion and something for me to learn from what you say on it. Don't be shy, just let it all go, whatever faith or no faith you would like to talk about, I want to know and learn from what you have to say.

There is so much to learn from a simple tree!
Send down deep roots to hold one fast.
Lift up your arms towards the sky.
Everything changes, nothing can last.
Put back for lean and wanting times.
Let go of things we do not need.
Relax and know you will survive.
Take care to root out every weed.
This is a lesson I must learn,
From such a wise old tree.
That one can bend without a break,
And ties that bind still make one free

what kind of robe will it be? does it look like a burka for women? im just pointing out some silliness in the bible. why would you need a robe? why is it white not red or black or rainbow colored?

cant you see that it is just man's preference for cleanliness? white is clean, black is evil?

who would care if all are naked? all would be holy anyway when wer'e in heaven. why would some angels need wings? we dont have gravity in heaven, i assume, or gravity is intensely magnanimous because heaven is so big. how about air resistance for the wings? wings to cover your face to face from god? is he that hideous?

A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed. As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation. They talked about so many things and various subjects.

When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said: "I don't believe that God exists."

"Why do you say that?" asked the customer.

"Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist. Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain. I can't imagine a loving a God who would allow all of these things."

The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument. The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop.

Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and unkempt.

The customer turned back and entered the barber shop again and he said to the barber: "You know what? Barbers do not exist."

"How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber. "I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!"

"No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside."

"Ah, but barbers DO exist! What happens is, people do not come to me."

"Exactly!"- affirmed the customer. "That's the point! God, too, DOES exist! What happens, is, people don't go to Him and do not look for Him. That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

When male Protestant clergy convert to Roman Catholicism and then wish to enter the RC priesthood, what precisely is the status of the spouse? Do they continue cohabitation as spouses (after all, the woman may not have converted to the RC faith, and it doesn't seem proper to set aside **her** marital vows), or must they live together (if at all) in a "brother-and-sister" relation? Or is a civil divorce (with no remarriage) permitted?

My husband and I were discussing what the Church was going to do in future years, with the demographic shifts and changes in faiths, and this topic came up---Google search was not very productive. Anyone familiar with canon law/currant decisions out there, or willing to make a reasonable interpretation/guess, or render an opinion? Rational, polite inputs from all perspectives welcomed!

Will their be no religion?

Step into any Christian church, and you are likely to see at least 50% more women than men.

The rate at which women convert to Islam is approximately 4 female converts per each 1 male convert.

I have heard that there are way more female practicing Wiccans than male.

Are men more likely to make the decision to be atheist or agnostic than women, or do just as many men believe, but are much less vocal about their belief? Do women just "practice" their religions more or are women really more spiritual?
