Also if he does exist why would he do that if he's supposed to be all nice and stuff?

Please read my words carefully:
If you see footmark in the sand, you'll say that someone passed from here...
If you see a piece of dog sh*t on the ground, you'll say that a dog passed from here...
So what about the enormous universe, the sky, stars, planets, earth and all the beauty in it, doesn't it lead to that someone made it?!!!

Some people say that everything is created by itself after the big-bang... I won't ask you about what caused the big-bang, but I'll ask you a simple question:
If you take all the letters of the alphabet, multiples of them, and you threw them randomly on the floor. Do you expect (by a chance of one in infinity) to get a poem like shakespear's??!!

Can't you see how organized our universe is, the planets, the eco-system on earth, look even in your own body... Can you control your heart-beat? Can you control your breath while you're sleeping? Who stopped your eye-lashes from growing after reaching a certain length? Who told the baby turtles to move towards the sea and not to the earth after they come out of their eggs? Who taught the bird how to make nests?

My friend, think with your heart and brain. If you're still lost, think about the following:

Do you know how to play safe?
Your point:
If there's no God and you do all what you want in life, then nothing will happen to you after life. But if there was God and you were mistaken, then you'll blame yourself FOREVER...

Believer's point:
If there's God and I followed His commands in life, then I'll be in Heaven after life FOREVER. But if there was no God and we're mistaken, then nothing bad will happen to us after life...

Now you know how to play-safe, in case you're not convinced?

I am not a religious person but I will say this.
God is not supposed to be all nice and stuff. God is all powerful.
God is not here to grant wishes no matter how hard we pray and no matter how well intentioned and kind hearted our requests are.
Our thoughts and wishes are not necessarily Gods thought and wishes. If you accept the belief of God as a supreme being you must also except that there is a plan greater than that which we can comprehend. Bottom line, we don't get to vote on it, it is what it is. I am sorry for your loss.

There is so many reasons why God does or doesn't answer prayers. Trust me, God has answer some of my prayers, and not others. It all depends on the situations, sometimes God take a life for a reason only God may know, he see the whole picture, to where we only guess why.
We can't blame God for all the deaths, it's part of life to die, there is so many every minute. It's our destiny, when you go to Heaven life is good, we all will meet are family's there, it's a better place to be, trust me he is doing good up there. God has saved my life many times, but the day that it's my time, it's my time, he won't save me again, I feel I am ready to go when God is ready to take me, perhaps I have things to do yet. Usually are pain makes us stronger, perhaps that part of the plan God has in store for you. God has teach me a lot through pain, and it gave me the experience to help others. Please don't feel that you have to blame God, he is compassionate, and merciful, and when Jesus died a painful death, whipped to pieces, beating, nailed with large nails, hanging there to suffer and die, crying out to his father for help, knowing all the time it was to not only to do his fathers will, but to save all of us. Don't you think, God cried. God Since he is stronger than we are, he is also ten time more sinsitive, the pain you feel, God's pain is greater. God loves us all no matter how bad we are, do you know anyone else like that, that will forgive you, as long as your sincere...... God bless you:)

i am so sorry for the loss of your dad
but i was asked this question once by my dad in law after he lost his wife

and i will answer you in the same way as i did then

if there is no God then those we have loved and lost are gone forever
if there is a God then they are held in safe arms until one day we can see them and be with them again

i dont blame God for someones life ending so soon ... there is a multitude of other reasons we could say cause this ..
and the world we live in where we create disease .. pollute the atmosphere ... take medications that do more harm than good ...we drink, we smoke ... we do all sorts of things to our body that we really shouldnt etc
these are just some of the reasons i feel people do not live their lives fully
even through no fault of their own

i really dont feel that God takes people away from us
but i do feel that he keeps them safe in spirit

love to you xx

Your dad died. Without knowing any details, that one fact remains. But why blame God because it happened despite your prayers? Perhaps it was God's will that he be taken, perhaps your father suffered some illness due to past mistakes he'd made, I don't know.

And I'm truly sorry to have to be the one to tell you this, but no one has ever said that God was supposed to be "all nice and stuff". That simply isn't true. He is Love, but without knowing what love truly is, that isn't going to mean anything to you. Love is not niceness and stuff.

Hi sorry for your loss. The Bible doesn't explain why God does all the things that he does and we can see it as being cruel or mean but if you read the Bible you may understand why some people live longer than others. Was it mean of him to give his only son death just so our sins could be forgiven? I hope you can heal from the loss of your father.

A mother cried out "where were you God when my son died?" God simple reply was , I was in the same place when your son died that I was in when My Son died. I serve a God that understands so many of our problems and I am sure He understands yours to.Won't you please let Him help you with this.No one can answer your question like He can.I will pray for you just as soon as this is sent.God Bless you and I'm sorry about your Dad.

Well, you have 2 options now:

1. You realize early on that God is a load of bs.
or
2. You buy into the idea that somehow it was god's plan that nobody can understand but him and that he did it because he loves you.

I think common sense can answer that.

Good question, I hope it starts you on the path to truth... there is no god. For all the people that say god has a plan, ask them why the 20th century saw more people slaughtered in war than any other century and if god's plan is working to perfection?
