I live with my boyfriend of 5 years. I know premarital sex is a sin, but we can't get married. Can I still receive communion?

To live in this state of sin is still a sin; regardless of your mate's sex. However, you could remove yourself from this situation, to eliminate the condition of sin, and go to confession.

The fact that you find yourself attracted to the same sex is a personal cross for you to bear. Know though, that refraining from acting upon this temptation is a great sacrifice for the glory of God. Offer it up steadfastly every day.

My prayers are with you! Peace,

MoP

you won't be in a position to get your head around it, because of the fact it is not what's occurring. The Anglican Church is split over the themes of what you confer with as, "openly gay vicars, married vicars, people who use start administration, professional-abortions, gay marriage." The Anglican church homes, bishops clergymen and people who are not in prefer of all those have asked the Catholic Church to take them in, and the pope has welcomed them. As for Catholic people who're gay, as long as they proceed to be abstinent, they have continually been welcomed to acquire the Holy Eucharist. gay and right now people who've intercourse outdoors of marriage could refrain, yet it extremely is often been genuine.

Repent and hurry now and ask the Lord Jesus Christ to come into your heart and life right now, because being a gay person is a abomination before the great God of Israel ,and surely judgment is going to come upon you if you don't repent and turn away from your sins revelations 21-8

No

Living a openly homosexual life is living in open sin. One cannot receive the Sacraments until they are purged of there sin first by Jesus Christ. This includes ALL sins (lying, cheating, adultery, swearing, lust) not just homosexuality. You cannot be a follower of Jesus Christ and live in open sin and refuse to repent.

not if you are having sex. also you would have to be Catholic and a Catholic in good standing. unfortunaltey, going to Communion with a mortal sin isn't s good thing. however you are more than, more than welcome as Mass and I would recommend bringing your boyfriend and celbrating with Christ that way!

just stop being Catholic, it is a waste of time, religion is just a placebo, and communion tastes like crap anyways.

I'm sorry, no. They won't let you if they know you're gay. But there are other, more accepting churches.
