Even Satanists don't worship Satan...it's kind of an ironic joke. God is not a good person. Does anyone worship a more evil deity than Christians?

Knowing that you are loved by an awesome God?
How do you feel that regardless of the mistakes you make, He never stops loving you.
How do you feel that whether you believe in Him or not, He still chooses to love you.
How do you feel to know that you are special to God, even if you don't feel special?
How do you feel that the creator of the universe would come down and would want to be a friend to you?
How do you feel to know that because of God's great love, Jesus died on the cross for you?
How do you feel knowing that if you confess your mistakes to God He will forgive you as if you had done nothing wrong?
How do you feel?

a. Jesus : started a ministry to save his people (the Jews). Is said to have turned water into wine, walked on water and rise from the dead after cruxifiction. His philosophies spawn a new cult movement. (cir. 4 BCE - 33 BCE)

b. Zoroaster: Persian prophet whose Mithra (protector of Humanity and cosmic god of light, son of the Almighty, second piece of the trinity.) was sent to the world by way of virgin birth in order to guide his people back to the Almighty (cir 1400 BCE - present)

c. Constantine the Great: a devot pagan who capitalized on a growing religious cult within the Empire of Rome. Constantine is the first of the common era to decree a freedom of religon act. Constantine later makes chirstianity the state religion, holds council with the leaders of the christian sects in Nicea, and authorized a canon which not only creates the church and the christian bible, but turns Jesus from man to Messiah. Without Constantine christianity would be a dead religion. (312 CE - 324 CE)

Jesus himself forgave the people who nailed him to a cross, but (so-called) christians today totally ignore his example and are filled with hate for anyone who disagrees with them (about religion, stem cells, gay marriage, evolution). JESUS CHRIST what's with these people?

So far, he's murdered, committed adultery (Mary was married), and what else? It all seems to roll of Christians, so what if he said "God damn, my neighbor's wife is hot!" ? What COULD God do that would ruffle Christian feathers?

After reading answer to a question recently I just wondered if being an athiest means that u don't celebrate Christmas
Presumably u don't as this is a celebration of the birth of Christ. So wot do u do on all these days that u don't celebrate like xmas, easter, pancake day?
And I suppose u don't celebrate New Year either as our calender years are also based on Christ's birth? Wot calender do u work off?
I am really intrigued on this one!!

It's one thing to point a gun at someone and say "get back or I'll shoot!" THAT is called self-defense.

It's another thing to point a gun at an innocent nun and shoot her to death. It's another thing to burn down embassies and churches. It is another thing to send suicide bombers to slaughter innocent people.

How can you people claim you are acting in self-defense? Your so-called prophet told you not to kill anyone unless you can justify it. Is revenge a form of justification to act on your unadulterated fury and rage?

im a non beleiver.. i'll be honest from the start of this question. But from reading the various questions christians beleive that Jesus is due back to earth soon to rule again. My questions are:
Will Jesus look the same as he did 2006 years ago?

will he still be called Jesus or have a different name?

What nationality will he be?

and is he already here?, as far as i know (and i stress i do have uneducated knowledge of the bible so excuse me if i am wrong) as some say he only discovered he had miracle gifts when he was in his 20's

and for something a little less serious .. what car would jesus drive? :-)

scientists say we were made from a multi cellular organism (bacteria) and God made us through dirt. Which alot of us are forgetting that dirt is also bacteria. So my question is maybe the organism is the dirt that God created us with. But in the bible he created earth and us by words and his breath so maybe the wind the dirt (which is the multi organism) and over a long period of time thats how we came about ? Does that make any sense ?

I have this one friend, and I just found out that she is bisexual. Being a very devout Christian, I am VERY against bisexuality and homosexuality. Its is an abomination. I'm not really sure what I should do about this, if anything. I know that it is wrong, but I also know I should be nice to her. Please give me some advice from a Christian point of view.

Do you know that some celestial events described in the ramayana during the the birth of rama have been accurately calculated by astronomers today to be over 9000 years old? There is a mention of two solar eclipses occuring within a span of 300 hours in that region and these have been plotted by astronomers to that era. And the Mahabharata to some 7000 years old! So is hinduism the oldest or what?

Why do people insist that atheists "believe there is no God" or that atheism is a belief or philosophy? Atheists are waiting for theists to prove their claims, nothing more nor less.

When theists prove their claims, there will be no more atheists. Or, when theists stop making their claims, whichever comes first.

And if any of my fellow atheists would continue to assert "there is no God" if given credible evidence supporting God belief, please so state.
