A miracle perhaps?

A sign?

Tangible proof?

Would having your drinking water turn to blood be enough proof?

Please read my words carefully:
If you see footmark in the sand, you'll say that someone passed from here...
If you see a piece of dog sh*t on the ground, you'll say that a dog passed from here...
So what about the enormous universe, the sky, stars, planets, earth and all the beauty in it, doesn't it lead to that someone made it?!!!

Some people say that everything is created by itself after the big-bang... I won't ask you about what caused the big-bang, but I'll ask you a simple question:
If you take all the letters of the alphabet, multiples of them, and you threw them randomly on the floor. Do you expect (by a chance of one in infinity) to get a poem like shakespear's??!!

Can't you see how organized our universe is, the planets, the eco-system on earth, look even in your own body... Can you control your heart-beat? Can you control your breath while you're sleeping? Who stopped your eye-lashes from growing after reaching a certain length? Who told the baby turtles to move towards the sea and not to the earth after they come out of their eggs? Who taught the bird how to make nests?

My friend, think with your heart and brain. If you're still lost, think about the following:

Do you know how to play safe?
Your point:
If there's no God and you do all what you want in life, then nothing will happen to you after life. But if there was God and you were mistaken, then you'll blame yourself FOREVER...

Believer's point:
If there's God and I followed His commands in life, then I'll be in Heaven after life FOREVER. But if there was no God and we're mistaken, then nothing bad will happen to us after life...

Now you know how to play-safe, in case you're not convinced?

Miracles can be faked or be something natural that is misunderstood so that isn't going to do it unless it is one huge one. Something like the rapture might do it.

A sign certainly can be misunderstood so no.

Tangible proof. You are going to have to define that. If I met God and was sure I met God, that would do it, although I might question rather I was sane and not drugged at the time. It is possible to fool yourself. I have personally seen a ghost, but I rationally know it was not really a ghost. I had that impression at the time, but thinking back we were drinking and wanted to see it so it was most likely just fog on a cold October night. Now if you had a ghost that would show up every night and you could measure it, and do other experiments...maybe. I would certainly acknowledge something was there.

I have seen no physically measureable evidence of a God. And the story that we are his most important creation seems absurd when you look at what a tiny speck of nothing we are on. It just makes no sense to start with.

No miracles, for they could be just a coincidence, no sign because that could be the subject of a natural phenomenon. I would need tangible proof, and even then I would be suspect, there could be many things in the universe that can do things that we can not, and have powers and/or technology that we could not comprehend, this does not make them Gods.

This brings up a good point: the bible was written before we could imagine technologies that could fake all of the miricles of the Bible.
I would demand tangible proof (miracles) but even then I would never blindly believe, because I know all of them could be faked (given a high enough level of technology). You (and all thinking people) probably would, too.
Think of how many people have claimed to be Jesus (Jim Jones, David Koresh, Manson) and we didn't believe.

I believe in my gods. I've seen signs and tangible proof of their existences. And apparently, they like all good people regardless of religion.

Tangible proof is a start.

Also, if god would remove all of the proof that the god of abraham is simply hijacked pagan mythology, that would help, too.

Then, if god would explain why there is no evidence whatsoever to support a belief in his existence, but a plethora of evidence that refutes said belief... well, that might do it.

Basically, god needs to come up with smarter arguments than his followers do.

Tangible proof. But since that isn't possible because according to the religion itself he is beyond our comprehension and logically beyond discovery by scientific method, it won't happen.

Oh yeah and he's nonexistent, another little hang up in that idea.

I don't know cause I really can't understand the aim of this question. I think it is not a just question indeed. It is trying to tell something different.I believe a creator power and it is also inside us and around the whole universe .It protects me and gives me power to achieve my goals .And it gives me love that I need .It taught me to love and learn and any other things .I like that power and it likes me too.I am not interested in church , mosques or any other clubs trying to impose their religions on people .In my opinion people should be totally free what to believe .People who wants to learn about Christianity , Islam Jew can learn about them cause they can find their books.I have a Muslim family but I don't go to mosque cause I don't want cause I am a human and free what to believe I can be a Christian ,Muslim or Jew but it is not a job of others. These are my own opinions.

Would those things lead to "belief" or "knowledge?"

I believe in God even though I have not seen proof...If I were Thomas and put my fingers in the nail holes, I no longer believe, I know.
