Mahomet words telling about spreading faith by sword sounds more like telling about sword as tongue. Tongue as symbol of speech filled with Wisdom of God. It was mentioned the same way in Bible an other manuscripts of those times. Sword as tongue telling words able to summon someone to be follower of religion devoted to God. Sword as tongue telling words able to juge true evil. Sword as tongue telling words able to heal or kill soul. Sword as tongue telling words how to reveal real meaning of Gods Messege. However it don’t reject the other meaning of Mahomets words. Sword made of steal weared by true blessed Gods warriors can be used to protect innocents, but the mean of protection innocents is unfortunetly wrongly understand in last times, at least as I see it this way. So we would have two messeges in one sentence. Simple divine into evil and good can make blind for truth. Evil can take disguise and lead us straight to Hell. Evil atacks more violently from inside than from outside.

this. when i read the bible i found out that we cant have world peace. does anyone have a problem with this. i'm a lutheran and in church meetings we always talk about this at least once. we have a meeting once every 2 months.

How came I can't feel anything but hate for this religion? All they seem to do is kill innocent people and kill even more when someone says something offending to them? How can I control my hate? I'm not any religion either, but I do believe in a God(more like a higher being) Does anyone feel this way?

P.S. I know this is probaly going to get reported but I need not want to offend anyone.

Did you know that the Quran (holy book of Islam) isn't even original? Did you know that it was created when someone took part of the Torah and part of the Bible and made a book out of it? Basically this is what they did:

Took part of the Torah, took part of the Bible, took those things out of context, added a few more things, and then said the book was "holy". Did you know that about the Quran? My question is: How can Islam be right if it's beliefs are from other religions that the Muslims hate?

This stigma of the "unnatural" beleifs of catholicism always has mystified me. While repainting the old nuns quarters in Spokane washington my father, a painter, told me about finding boxes of rubbers with in the furniture & between mattress's they had to move so they could paint.
Years later in 1971 while I was an apprentice painter & assigned by my boss to the new Sacred Heart hospital being built I was shocked to see nuns, several times, smoking cigarettes while driving in cars.
1980 took the cake tho. While waiting for my girl friends lunch break out side the basement door at Mt. St. Josephs nursing home two middle aged nuns came thru the door, walked down the wall about ten feet & casually lit up cigarettes. A third nun came thru the door not two minutes later & fired up a cigarette not two feet from me. I asked her "I didn't know nuns smoked". She replied "sisters enjoy lifes simple pleasures also". This was a younger nun, say early thirties. Go figure!

Jesus was a practising jew, and never did he state he wanted to start a new religion. His earliest followers were practising jews who accpeted Jesus. ANY jew will tell you that the trinity is not a part of their faith, who made it up?

I asked this question last night. Explain it to me again, Christians. Maybe I'm slow, but I really don't get it. If we have free will, then no one should be able to accuratly predict what all of us are going to do all of the time. If God has a Divine Plan for us and he knows everything that we are going to do and he knows it before we're even born, then we are puppets. Free will and predestination, as far as I can see, can not coexist. If you can resolve this in plain english, without doublespeak, please let me know.

I say rejection of Salvation in Jesus word- John 12 vs 48 The one that rejecteth my word hath one that judgeth the same that i have spoke , the same shall judge that one in the last day. its called rejecting the Rosh Hakodesh-the Spirit of God.

Jesus loves us heart and soul -regardless of what we have done---he awaits us heart and soul-to be our savior, messiah and best friend. What will u do with Jesus?

He came from heaven to die and rise to offer true salvation and be our savior and best friend-who else offered u that?

Here's something I found on youtube while searching for C. Ronaldo's video. I personally found it offensive, so I went to his other videos and the other ones were done in similar fashions. You can go check it out yourself, especially the Ronaldo one (I hate Ronaldo, too, but that was over the line).
