this. when i read the bible i found out that we cant have world peace. does anyone have a problem with this. i'm a lutheran and in church meetings we always talk about this at least once. we have a meeting once every 2 months.

No we won't have world peace...at least not until Christ comes back and wipes away all the non-believers. I can hardly wait! :-)

I don't recall ever reading "Thou shalt not have world peace" in the Bible. If you literally interpret the book of Revelation and the doomsday writings of Matthew and the Old Testament, I can see how you might think that, though. You're probably right, when all is said and done, but it has to do with the stupidity of human beings, not the Bible.

World peace has never been anything that I strived for... We are not here for that. Sure it would be beautiful, but it's hardly realistic, and not worth my time or effort to fight for. The Earth is a temporary home for all human beings, and the little time that we have here should be spent worshipping the Lord and doing his will. We will find the peace we seek in Heaven.

God doesn't say anything in the Bible about peace in the world. There is alwasy going to be wars that has something to do with religion. But just know that God loves u for sticking with Him. He loves us all even though many of us always sin. And also that God sais somwthing about letting Him deal witht ehones that make gfun or you or pu u down for believing in Christ.

You're right, as long as we have religion we're not going to have world peace. Can't the rapture come already?!
Seriously though, world peace is not going to happen because of human nature, plain and simple.
