Did you know that the Quran (holy book of Islam) isn't even original? Did you know that it was created when someone took part of the Torah and part of the Bible and made a book out of it? Basically this is what they did:
Took part of the Torah, took part of the Bible, took those things out of context, added a few more things, and then said the book was "holy". Did you know that about the Quran? My question is: How can Islam be right if it's beliefs are from other religions that the Muslims hate?

most religions are from books that are made up and written only a few hundred years ago or so...only the kjv of the holy bible is authentic (yes there are even works of it that are messed with-- NIV and such but based off of the kjv)...it was translated but there is scripture about how the word of God will be 'purified' 7 times and if you do the homework and figuring, it was translated and such 7 times and viola you have the kjv with no additives, and is the amazing word of our God, and we have access to it anytime we like...years and years ago this was unheard of and soo many people couldn't even read a bible---great how things like the printing press made life better for all of us!!

I agree that the Quran was just put together from other stories from the Old and New Testament. But this is the whole premise of the religion. Jews were the first, they fell. Then Christians had the gospel, but they fell. So now Muslims have it.
Of course I disagree with this, but my point is that Christians are very similar. They say Jews had the gospel, but then rejected Christ. The New Testament is original, but has a lot taken from the Old Testament. So I agree with you that the Quran is a false book, but it is false for more than just taking pieces from other, true books.

The Torah and the Bible are also derivative. Old folk tales and stories from other beliefs were cobbled together to justify the political and imperial ambitions of rulers. Religion is a great tool for those who want to work up the enthusiasm of the populace for war. Since most religious writing is self-contradictory and incomprehensible, and we can't verify the existence of God, we can claim he has said nearly anything. "God told me to invade Iraq," is just as reasonable as "Allah told me to defeat the invaders of Iraq." It's all rather silly, isn't it?

Did you know the bible was taken from earlier texts too? the flood account was written in Babylon hundreds of years before it "happened" in the bible. Same with Jesus, his life is the same account as Zarathustra, a character that predates Jesus by a thousand years at least.
It's all a bunch of fairy tales from goat herders being passed around and people are still buying it.

How can Christianity be right if they plagerised much of their beleifs from the other religions of their time and earlier? Jesus was hardly the first god to "rise from the dead." I doubt much that the history of a religion is very important if the believers are devout. And the Bible was written by humans, let's not forget.
