John 10:27 says "My sheep hears my voice, I know them and they follow me. John 10:1 The man who doesn't not enter the sheep pen by the gate, is a thief and a robber. Jesus said " I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father but by me. I hope they don't intend to meet Jesus in Heaven. That will be a big... very big surprise.

Well, Christianity is not the only religion. Everyone needs something to believe. Not only that, Muslims don't believe in the same kind of heaven that Christians believe in.

Also, as a non-believer - I believe in little aspects of each religion. For instance, I have some memories of a life I had before the life I'm in - so, I guess you can say I believe in the Hindu belief of reincarnation.

But, in some ways, I believe that there is no life after death. You're simply dead - gone, burried - or cremated - whatever. You were born, you lived, you died. There is no other life after that.

And, I'm now starting to look into the possibility of an "Ellyssium" - the early Roman version of heaven. I like that version as well!

Who is jesus?
what did he do for a living?
What bills did he have to pay every week or month?
What music did he like, what books did he read, what do you think made him so knowledgeble?

Why don't you believe David Koresh, Jim Jones, Mazareta Mahata and all the other nutters that have claimed to be god. You see, to me, the words of these nut cases are equally as valid - if not more so - than the words of jesus. At least we know for certain that these nutters existed and that these were there true words.

so there

Errr.. Um... Jesus never wrote any scripture and well, he never is quoted as saying there would be more scripture either...

Hmm.. and he said he would send a "helper" - the Holy Ghost...

Hmm... Then 40 years later the Romans started writing all the scripture...hmmm...and invented a religion to control both jews and gentiles...hmmm....

And...hmmm... Muslims also believe in Jesus as a prophet...hmm.. and they have the Koran...

Hmm... so maybe instead of being a brain-dead follower of Paul and hsi Roman-created "religion" you should become a follower of Jesus' teachings instead.

And by the way... pick me... pick me... and I'll go to church.

I never realized that! You're absolutely right! Had I heard these bible passages before, maybe I would've turned to the light. And here they are on Yahoo Answers, my life has just been saved by a stranger copy lines out of a book!

Seriously, did you expect anything from quoting the bible? I mean its a nice book and all, but we've heard it all a hundred billion times, and one more time isn't going to do diddly squat.

Muslims do believe in the prophet Jesus, but he wasnt killed on a cross, the bible might say that he was but all bibles these days are full of lies and false information. think about it how can the bible be true if every year they come out with news ones and change the wording everytime.

It's a very closed minded question. You can't believe everything you read, not even if it's in the bible. Man wrote the bible and man is a flawed species, and heaven was invented by man. Try to expand your train of thought just a tiny bit.

You can't believe that stuff from the past, that's why there is no proof that God exists, or anything that disproves his existence. I believe in a higher power but I don't trust any religion because humans just love to twist everything to their will, and the bible could have been twisted as such over the years, I'll just leave it at that.

God in his goodness never bars anyone from entering heaven. He sees this quality in the hearts of men. Read the 8 beatitudes and you will see that they are the tickets to enter heaven.
Even the Catholic Church, in its broadest understanding of the Scriptures, expands the salvific graces of salvation to all men of good will.

If you have attended ecumenical or inter-faith prayers, you will hear the prayers of praise and thanksgiving to the Almighty One God. They connect everybody's heart and soul. That's what God wants that everyone is united.

That's what even Jesus wanted that all may be one as He and the Father are one.

Because the choice of religion is personal. You can't expect for everyone to believe what you believe. Thats why there are so many different religions. If Christianity was 100% correct, there wouldn't be hundreds of other religions. How about you just respect the fact that people have the right to choose what they want to and do not want to believe in.
