How do you know when you have prayed long enough? I mean if I do a one sentence prayer is God gonna feel like "That's it?" Or should it be at least a few minutes or what?

there are so many types of religions out there. so many believes and practises. ( im including the atheist for discussion purposes) are we missing the point where the religion we believe in(or lack thereof) define the way we are?? or worse, the way we are judged?? i mean, its about people right?? how people are and what we do that defines us?? for e.g i see the jesus preachers condemning every other religion and its followers and the atheist saying all religion sucks... your views please. and thanks. no offense to anyone.

set aside all religious philosophy for a moment,because we can debate that until the end of time and still get No answers, Consider this: There is really just one question we need to answer as a society, Is all of "THIS", either planetary or cellestial; an accident or is it on purpose? I choose the latter of the two, only because everything we see out there is in such perfect timing with everything else it can't by deductive reasoning be an accident. So what Im trying to say is that both Atheist, and All other Beliefs are somewhat right and somewhat wrong. God is JUST that timing process, What say you?

...one of the sickest things a god could've given humans. Like, if I said to you: "I give you the option to be killed and tortured forever", what would you think?

Knowing that this world has 6.5 billion people in it (not including me), of course some people are going to make bad choices. (Bernd Jürgen Armando Brandes for example) So why would a supposedly "loving" god give us the option to burn in hell forever that he knew two thirds of the world would take? Sounds like a pretty angry guy to me...

I am referring to the phrase in 31:32 "I was a husband to them," which is rendered in 8:9 as "but I regarded them not."
Please don't answer by saying that the quotation is based on the Septuigant text of Jeremiah instead of the Masoretic Hebrew text, as it is a clear fact that the 70 scholars/Rabbis only wrote Septuigiant text on the Pentateuch, but not on the rest of scripture. (The rest of the text included in the septuigant was written after the time of Jesus by the church).
Please don't say the Bible is not the word of G0d. Please don't say that there is a mistake here-assume that each is the original text penned by each author respectively.
