yup yup and yup.We are really missing out a point in religion.Man is selfish always and he always feels superior. So whatever one man says the other usually diagrees.Coming to religion it is nothing but the writings of man to give a confidence boost for us so that we can live our life hopefully.we are not sure of what will happen in the future whether it is a sorrow or happiness,we just live with what is called hope. That is religion, living with a hope.Living for a purpose, religion guides us.So it is abyssmal if u condemn other religion. It is belief and the hope and above all faith, what makes the difference though u may follow any religion. So the people who are condemning religion have not realised who is god.

nicely, what's the element of religion, faith and spirituality? the element of religion is to furnish a structural framework for society - which consequently supplies a fashion of controlling society. If one is able to furnish "truths" with regard to the worldwide with the aid of this form (e.g. how the universe got here approximately, how human beings got here approximately) then this additionally will become accepted. hence, not basically is one controlling society's shape, yet one is controlling society's questioning. Which perpetuates the religion. the element of religion is to convince people who can not or won't reason to settle for some thing without evidence. So, I inform you the earth is 4billion years previous, it takes a couple of minutes to describe why, which calls for some medical expertise. it fairly is boring, it fairly is tedious, even though it fairly is in keeping with evidence and medical good judgment. An evangelical tells you the earth is 6,000 years previous through fact they have faith it with none physically powerful evidence from different view factors. So faith with the help of-passes good judgment and reason. the element of spirituality is to furnish convenience that there is extra to existence than what we see around us. nicely, none individuals has evidence that there is extra to existence than this, yet many individuals wish so through fact we are petrified of death and scared that it rather is all existence is approximately. it rather is a gloomy concept, yet probably the main precise - it rather is all there is to existence, so stay it nicely. Atheists might nicely be non secular - a perception in a extra "essence" - like karma - or a perception interior the "human spirit" or "human goodness". the element is they have not got faith that there is a god that instructs, leads or controls us. So faith isn't finding for good judgment interior the illogical, it fairly is finding for administration of the vulnerable-minded, the lazy, the scared, and the sheep who do not prefer to stand out. regrettably, it rather is maximum folk on the planet, extraordinarily in the event that they have not got a stable secular training.

Including atheism as a religion is a misunderstanding of the differences between atheism and religion.
Atheism typically is related to science, which is based upon evidence. In science, either there is evidence for something, or there isn't evidence. There's not a place for faith in science.
Religion, on the other hand, is based on faith, which is another way of saying wishful thinking. Just because someone wants to live forever, or for people they don't like to be punished for eternity, doesn't make it so.

all religions teaches good things but it just depend on how people interpret it. i'm a catholic and i know that the bible said respect one another it did not condem other religion
for the ten commanants it also did not condem other religion just telling His followers to worship only Him but did not say anything about those who don't
those who condem other religion should go and think about what they did is it really what it suppose to be especially if the above mention Jesus preachers should read and understand that He given us free will

I'm Atheist and I don't think all religion sucks. I have no problems with religious people or believers so long as they respect my right not to believe what they believe.
I don't need holy wars against me and I don't need people telling me how I'm going to hell if I don't submit to their beliefs. How the hell do they know?
Live and let live I say.

Religion in its simplest definition is a way of viewing the world, and our place in it. However, many religions or sects have got it all wrong. Check out "When Religion Becomes Evil" by Charles Kimball.

I agree that religion has been a heartache over the years but as a Christian it is more than religion, its a personal relationship with my savior. The bible says there is no other name given among men where by we might be saved. That name is Jesus.

I don't know of my pastor ever condemning other religions except atheist beliefs and that's because what they say doesn't make sense. They say, "I don't believe in God", but by saying that, they are implying that there is a god for them not to believe in. Know what I mean?

Religion does just what you say about Jesus preachers judge and condemn.Jesus is the word of God and he said....Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and all thy soul and all thy mind and thy neighbor as thy self, there is place for condemning anyone or we will find our self in worse shape than the one we condemn.Everybody reaps what they sow.
