The Bible foretells a time when peace will be achieved—but not through the efforts of humans. Psalm 46:9 says regarding the Creator, Jehovah God: “He is making wars to cease to the extremity of the earth.” How will God accomplish this? By means of his Kingdom, for which many sincere people have repeatedly prayed. That Kingdom is, not an elusive condition of the heart, but a real government through which God will establish peace from one end of the earth to the other. The inspired prophet Isaiah foretold that subjects of that government will not “learn war anymore.” (Isaiah 2:4) By means of a worldwide educational program, people will learn to live in peace and thus “beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears.”
"But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth,
And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace." (Psalms 37:8-11)

Well I would like to tell you not until Jesus comes back to claim His children>>> the Lord returning. The Bible says in the end men will be lovers of themselves meaning they wouldn't love anyone else but themselves. Men would seek to hate rather than to love one another therefore causing destruction and war not peace. So my dear the day you would hear that there is 'World Peace' is the day of my Savior Jesus Christ the son of the Living God returning.

You know, I really don't like to be negative about this, but I truly don't ever see that as coming to fruition. As time goes on, I believe that things will only get worse due to lack of values, morals, and supervision in the young folks today. I'll get creamed by that statement, but unfortunately I believe it to be true. And it's not their faults. It's the parents for lack of time to give to their kids, unfortunately......peace & love

Sure. When Jesus returns upon the second coming to rule the earth, Satan is thrown into Hell, and the masses are judged and doled out accordingly. Then, we will have peace on earth.

After the first nuclear war, maybe, but it would be temporary. Homo sapiens, like most species, is very territorial. Even hummingbirds fight.

Good thought. Very unlikely.
My opinion is that human existence is based on conflict and opposites comming together. Man- woman, Ying- Yang, +,- water-fire.
On top is the basic human condition of ATTACHMENT/GREED associted with economics of SURVIVAL.
