The enemy of souls can also 'remove' an affliction that he himself has caused and then it will appear that a miracle has been performed for eg, in a 'ERROR' faith or persuation which can then deceive many-even the very elect.

Thanks for taking time to think over this and answer.

According to Christianity, if you go to Heaven you will be happy for all eternity and live in a utopian paradise, right? If you go to Hell, you'll be sentenced to pain, suffering, torture, and etc.... for all eternity, right?

So, how could a mother be happy in Heaven when the child she loves more than anything is being tortured in Hell for all eternity?

Seems like this Christian afterlife is impossible.

I want to ask a question for Christians of denominations and churches. Most Christins are Potestant, Catholic, Orthodox, evangelical, mormon. We were all born into our group or church. We are protestant or mormon because our parents and family has belonged to this group.
Have any Christian questioned their Church? You belong to that church because it is the only one you have ever known.
Why not look to see which is the real church? We need to look for the truth. People in this age, have stopped looking for the truth.

I believe that when a sinner gives their heart , soul and indeed entire life in surrender to God and then gets baptised, this indeed is a miracle. But have YOU had another type of miracle happen to you recently, or does God not operate in this way anymore on the basis that the bible is evidence enough for all to be able to believe in Him and be saved and we have improved technological findings and medical pratitioners and counsellors etc to turn to - who God has provided.
Do you have a testimony or experience you care to share?

Thanks
In love

It's my understanding that the bible says that the rainbow was created following the Great Flood as a sign of his new covenant with Noah and mankind. (bible verses below)

My question is this:
The passage makes it clear that the rainbow was *first* created after the flood... meaning that rainbows did not exist before this time.

Of course, that is based on reading the passage literally.

Is it the Christian belief that rainbows didn't exist before the time of Noah?
Or is this part of the bible really an analogy, and not literally true? (Is the flood story & rainbow thing really more like a parable?)

From Genesis 9:
And God said, This [is] the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that [is] with you, for perpetual generations:
And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud:

As much as I despise their ideals and their methodical forcefulness.... Why don't the other "Christian" Religions offer up a free scripture for someone who is a border-line believer, in order to "Help" persuasiveness? Rather than charge monetary values for everything from a piece of paper, to the Scripture, to getting a Hi-Tech system (Cameras, projection TV's, computer software, amps, 5-piece Band) for the sermons. Isn't there more to be gained from getting back to the basics and "Practicing what you Preach"?

the cruciform figurine is a fertility symbol typical of the Chalcolithic culture (late Neolithic/ early Bronze Age.)

See here for a picture of it, looks very familiar, no?

If you are "supposed" to be a christian, why do so many of you go trick or treating. Doesn't that go against your beliefs? It is supposed to be the Devils night, don't you think thats a bit hypocritical?

I keep reading from the fundos (you know the people who "know" god's will) that you have to accept Jesus or you don't go to heaven.

What about being good for the reward of making life better for your fellow human? F*uck heaven - why can't we all just be good for goodness's sake?
Is the carrot on a stick of heaven really that important?

Is a heaven who doesn't accept a loving kind person who rejected the magic of Jesus (due to the bibles inconsitency and the church's hypocricy) any heaven at all?

They say there's no God, and when they're in the middle of a big problem, they call God. When people face life and death situation, they know God does exist. Can you imagine how many atheis probably were in the twin tower including in those 2 planes? You can hear testimonies of many believers who God said "Do not go to work today, or Do not travel travel today". God always save his people. Why do people say "oh my God" all the time, if there's no God.

this is how i think of God

when he started and what was before him?

god is like number one so when you count down you may say 3-2-1 then what's before number one ? the answer is nothing because number one is the first number ... without it there will be no 2 or 3 or 4 or 5

how he looks like?

if you are sitting next to a very sick man then suddenly the sick man died ... his heart stopped and he is not able to move
what happened ? simply his spirit is out of his body most people will say so
but how this soulor spirit looks like ?
is it liquid or solid or like the air?
the same as god he exists but you cant feel him but you can simply with no effort at all feel his existence just like the soul you can feel see and believe in its existence

in which direction the face of god?

come on switch on a lamp and see the direction of the light coming out from it
its going every where shining the whole place
