Your ? is valid.
Its not about wasting the brains or even having a working brain. Its about the acknowledgment of truth or the full belief of doctrine. Society has not been able to give us much truth, based on the fear of political upheaval. The politicians of history did not believe that people had the natural abillity to be good, so fear was implemented. The doctrine had to be implemented for a socail standard of living. The lack of true knowledge was traded for doctrine. I say, if its the only way some people can be better people so be it. Go Doctrine believers!

I don't know of any Christians who beleive that. The brain is the organ of electrical conductivity which send and receive electrical signals musch the same way a satellite receiver does.
The brain also controls the thought process in the same way.
Christians may beleive in their savior but they are much smarter than people of other religions in their quest for freedom and freedom of speech. They also do not seek toi froce others to convert or die as does Islam.

Though you grossly overstate the matter, Christians (and others of strong monotheistic faith) sometimes emphasize the higher spiritual truth in what one "feels" and believes over what one "knows". But the brain is not ever "a waste."

The gray matter between your ears was built wih precision, and as human beings, don't you think we need it? Or would you rather be brain-dead? (not made to be funny, thanks).
