I believe that when a sinner gives their heart , soul and indeed entire life in surrender to God and then gets baptised, this indeed is a miracle. But have YOU had another type of miracle happen to you recently, or does God not operate in this way anymore on the basis that the bible is evidence enough for all to be able to believe in Him and be saved and we have improved technological findings and medical pratitioners and counsellors etc to turn to - who God has provided.
Do you have a testimony or experience you care to share?

Thanks
In love

I don't know if you want to call it a miracle or not. But I thought it was an experience I will never forget!! This happen about 4 years ago but to me it feels like it happen yesterday! I was craving WENDY'S, So off I went I had decide it to go thru the drive thru. I had order a kids meal for my son and a cheeseburger meal for me. I got my order did'nt even check it. All I wanted to do is get home to eat I was very hungry. I figure It was a small order they would'nt miss up on it!!! So I get in the freeway to go home as I exit on the street I'm soppust to exit. I see a man with long beard, thin and tall with a card board that says "WILL WORK FOR FOOD".. So I was just thinking should I give him my food or not!! I did'nt know if he was facking or not, It's sad to say it but a lot of people that are out their relly don't need the help. But anyways I keept on looking at him and something in my mind told me he wasent lying. So I reached into the bag of food without even looking and I got the cheeseburger out and honk the horn. The man came up to the window I gave him the cheeseburger and he looked at me strait in the eyes and said "GOD BLEES YOU". After that he went and sat on the ground and ate that cheeseburger. I felt so good in my mind beeing able to help someone out with a simple cheeseburger. So as I'm driving home I'm thinking of what I'm gonna make myself to eat. I get home and I start taking out my son's food and inside that bag believe it or not was another cheesburger. I could'nt believe what I was seeing but I think it was something so wonderful and beutiful. I thank God for the lesson he had giving me that day. I will always remember it and keep it in my heart! I hope I did'nt board you with my story but it really did happen..

Every day at every mass Jesus Christ is present body, soul and divinity in the Holy Eucharist. It doesn't get any better than that. There's no better miracle than that.....

Here's a miracle you can see on the internet:
do a google search for the Miraculous Staircase in the Loretto Chapel of Santa Fe, New Mexico. The staircase defies gravity. It has no center support. When the chapel was built, it was so small that there was no room to build a regular staircase to lead to the choir loft. So the sisters who lived in the convent there did a 9 day novena to St. Joseph the Carpenter. On the 9th day an elderly man showed up with a donkey and 3 tools. He said he was looking for work and the sisters asked if he could build a staircase. He said yes. He worked for several months. No one saw him come or leave each day, but they saw him working. He built a spiral staircase with no center support. This is impossible! But there it was! He left without being paid. It is believed this was St. Joseph himself who built it. Scientist have studied the wood that the staircase is made from and they cannot identify it. It is some kind of fir, but this wood appears to be perhaps prehistoric wood and so this part of the staircase is also a miracle. I have seen the miraculous staircase myself. When it was first built, there was no handrail. People felt woozy climbing the stairs and so a rail was added.

Do they still happen today, read and consider, skeptics!

(I've posted this same story before and it is true, because my husband is still alive and tumor free almost 8 years later).

I sure do believe in miracles. They just aren't the Moses parting the red sea type of miracles every day.

But I've seen answers to prayers that can only be done by the power of God. I know that not everyone will agree but I know that He lives and reigns!

Example
My husband had a serious medical condition and needed to find a specialist to treat him. During the time we were praying for him at church, he was home surfing the web. Had been for 42 hours straight (only taking a short break to sleep a few hours). As we were praying for him, he found a post on a website that brought him to the doctor who was the pioneer in this type of surgery. I know, because I saw the time on the clock at church when we started to pray and I asked him about when he saw the answer. Almost to the minute of the time of prayer. Coincidental?

My husband is the first documented case of surviving his surgery without the facial paralysis that most people expect to receive. We estimated over 200,000 were praying for him. Coincidental that he has no facial paralysis, yet the 3 others who had the same doctor operate on them that week did have facial paralysis? Coincidental?

Could he have been healed without surgery. Possibly. God doesn't always work by divine healing. He also gives us wisdom and provides other means. Coincidental that he got his own doctor to refer him? Especially since this doctor had done this surgery before? Coincidental that the doctor agreed to refer him to a specialist not normally covered by the insurance?

Coincidental that the insurance worked with us on a $100,000 surgery and provided a way for us to afford this surgery? Especially since we were going out of network, and they covered the surgery as if it were in-network? Coincidental?

Coincidental that he did not have to go back for part 2 of the surgery since the tumor shrunk after surgery (very rare for this medical condition to be done in one surgery)?

Coincidental that he had very little pain in the recovery?

Coincidental that he has had almost no migraines in 7 years when it was almost constant before him?

Coincidental that this tumor still has not returned, even though part of it could not be removed?

Coincidental that the remnant of the tumor died?

Could he have found the doctor otherwise? Possibly, but it seems the odds were pretty coincidental that he found the post almost to the minute we were praying for him, doesn't it?

Coincidental, or God's hand on my husband's life?

Coincidental that the doctor had to admit, it was not medically possible and he had no explanation that he could take back to the medical community on my husband's recovery (back to work after 5 weeks instead of 6 months)?

The combination of all of these factors? Coincidental, or can you doubters finally admit that God just might still be here and working in our lives yet today?

No.

I keep saying all God has to do is give a week long show of raining bibles all over the earth in perfectly translated into all languages and have them fall for 7 days straight on every square inch of the earth. Then we'd all believe (in the "miracle" at least)

Haven't seen that yet.

I would say no. The ones that worked miracles needed them to demonstrate faith. To demonstrate that the person being healed, cleansed, etc. that all they had to do was have faith. Why did they need the gift of miracles? They had no complete work of faith, i.e. the Bible. The Bible was not yet finished or complete, once it was completed it was the only message of faith needed to be a complete Christian.

YES, Definitely.
A changed life is a miracle. In my case this means no more swearing, drinking alcohol (beer in my case), smoking, etc. I quit all this over 15 years ago.
I have had numerous answers to prayer. To me most of these are definitely miracles. Coincidence is definitely not even a consideration in most of these.

I know people who have had cancer healed, have been raised from the dead, been delivered from drug addiction in a moment of time, been healed of epilepsy, tuberculosis, and myriad other diseases, so I would have to say yes miracles to still happen today.

Miricles happen everyday. Everytime you breathe it's another miricle b/c God is letting you live another second longer. A miricle that has happened to me recently was that a man that goes to our church got saved when he went with us on a youth trip to Myrtle Beach.
