There are those individuals who call themselves Christians and spend their time threatening others with hell or using scare tactics. Jesus never used those methods. He taught love and compassion. He shared the Word of the Lord through proper example. When we accept the Lord, we must change our hearts and lives. We become like Christ in our words and actions. We are not all rude and forceful, but some are. We are being judged as a whole based on the mistakes or behaviors of a few select individuals who don't understand the truth and the way.

it has been my experience with every born-again christian ive known, that they think because they "found him" you should too. and you cant argue with these people because they think they are right, and everyone else is wrong. most do stereotype and in doing so are very rude. i myself am an athiest and the last thing i want is for a born-again to start preaching to me on why im wrong and i just havent had something bad happen to me yet and when something bad does happen i will see that they are right blah blah blah. they are totally foreceful in trying to recruit the non-christians. for the record, i have had plenty of bad things happen to me, forcing me to analyze my life and the people in it, and not once did i resolve to look to christianity, and i think ive done pretty well for myself, without god. bottom line is if you try and recruit people who are not interested or are arguing with you, you're being forceful and rude. maybe you are and you dont realize it, or maybe you're not. i dont know you. all i know is that people dont like pushy people, especially pushy born-agains.

Because "born again" christians tend to give us the impression that you think you are better than us. Every encounter I have ever had with a BAC, they seem to hold themselves as the ultimate authority on all things spiritual or moral. They also don't want to listen to any other point of view, as if they are afraid to be proven wrong, or listening to teachings from another religion will make them burn in hell.
You guys just need to learn that there are other great teachers out there other than JC. Not that I'm knocking JC, but you need to be more open and sensitive to other people's beliefs.....and quit telling us we're going to burn in hell.

I guess people are tired of being told "Jesus loves you. No matter the sins, he will forgive you. Come and pray with me, brother".
Being christian is fine and all, but falling to the depths of religion is never a good sign. If you're comfortable with what you are - have a blast. But try to keep a low profile out of understanding and respect towards others.

I am a born again Christian as well and have come across many judgementel people too but i am not that way i love leading people to the Lord, and have done so with all but one of my neighborhood friends i have not yet with the one because i have just met her but i am planning and telling her about it soon,you are doing good keep it up.

I am too, because so many people do hypocritical,stealing,lying, hateful things and and justify it by putting in the name of Jesus as if that makes it okay. You just have to live accordingly and pray for the others. The bible talks about false prophets.

The people that are rude are not Christians, same with the ones that are forceful. The ones that do this are just trolls trying to cause trouble.

There are REAL christians and there are PROFESSING christians (so called) Satan planted the professing christians to make the real christians look bad.
Besides that Jesus said they hated me they will hate you also.
Men love darkness rather than light because their deeds are evil.
