It isn't a bad thing, not in the long term.

For those who believed in God during the Black Death plague of 1347 -1351, when between 25% and 50% of Europe's population were killed, they thought truly the end of the world had come.

Social order broke down, and cultivated land returned to the wild, whilst herds of domestic animals roamed freely. The death of half the population of Europe benefited European wild life by enabling it to return from the brink of extinction. Forests and animals were able to return from a thousand years of deforestation and slaughter, which had began with the Romans.

The decimation and following 250 year setback on Europe's human population, helped Europe change in culture, geography, and physical topology and became one of the building blocks of Europe as it is today.

So, we've got a fair amount to thank the victims of the plague for.

Perhaps the "lemming" mentality of the world's current warmongers will reduce the population of the world by 50% or less and that will leave a better place for fewer people in the future.

I guess that's where Religion and Science, being man made concepts, finally converge!

Well, the history should have taught us that the war does more bad than good to people and societies. It's wishful thinking to say that everyone should leave behind their differences and get along because there s a lot of politics going on in the world and people who are benefiting from the hatred.
But we should always limit our societies from killing and harming each other otherwise there is no difference between humans and animals. We have been given a mind to think and we have to try to tolerate differences. Even God asks this of us. We should treat people kindly and be just.

Here's a question for you?

Would you like to live in fear of being shot, blown to pieces, burnt alive, loss of limbs, etc. and also be witness to these same things happening to others?

Anyone that thinks that war might not be bad needs to experience it. Go and volunteer for the army and spend some time in Iraq or Afghanistan.

As far as a natural death is concerned, however, Christians do not fear it but do indeed look forward to it when their allocated time on earth is over.

i beleive in God and He was in heaven cause god=g+o+d=7+15+4=26=2+6=8=h

so god is in heaven as the H.

and heaven says god e a V e n ie e is dad and V is 5 so god of heaven was 5 years old when e died. so draw bodies for h and n and see H is God and n is His one armed grandfather. and true story about TODD.

And if God can only be proved over tiMe the see MARCH APRIL MAY and read forward or reverse from God ie H. and it describes Me. Your LORD AND GOD.

so you can never really go to the english heaven cause its over.

so in answer to your question death and war is a bad thing cause most in the case of war don't return and nobody returns from death. You can be SLAIN cause that means SIL A I IV. thats how Lamb(which equals Larrib where b=DI. stitched together) was SLAIN ie pronounced larry best spelled that way so those italians could understand it. they have no y in their alphabet. so i must treat them special. like Jerry's kids. just kidding i say that in fun.

by the way the Lamb SLAIN lived and is said to be the KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

why?

spell that in times new roman font and see that Larri is also called ToDD and is of the LORD(ie within Him) and KING in times new roman font except the K which says IT so KING=IT I IV CUT(G when cuT in times new roman font)

and yes i am a skinner. means i cuT skin. like buffaloe hunters of old. except it was my own. any problems with that? if yes go f yourself.

That kind of sums up what I think about suffering and the existence of God.
Lots of people want to know why God allows bad things to happen, but in the grand scheme of things, I don't think they are as bad, as long as we see that there is more to life than what we can see.

Hello Long,

Its a bad thing because it shouldn't have happened in the first place. The world should have been perfect and because man is greedy for power and wealth and teased by a crumpet on a shelf, he grabs and snatches what he can in hope it will relieve the void in his mind which is separation from God. hm hm la la la la la la hum hum la la la la um

I think you're speaking of war and its casualties, that result in death.
It's a bad thing because GOD taught us to pray for our enemies, not attack and kill them.
