All across the world and in every culture one can find the basic human values like love, truth, caring, honesty, respect for a fellow human being etc etc. The abundant literature, cultural ethos of every society approves it. Isnt that all one needs in the world today?? Religion has been the reason for most wars, tragedies and sufferings of humanity just becuase every one wishes the other human being to follow his God!

Christians say that 'Jesus is Gods only son'
Muslims say 'Allah' is the only God. Now both these statements cannot be true becuase we know that apart from these two religions there are millions of people following other religions. Does that mean that God is one super being but its followers are narrow minded as they try to glorify their version of God?

ACCORDING TO BIBLE KING JAMES VERSION I GOT THIS...

Jesus Christ (pbuh) never claimed Divinity

One may ask, if both Muslims and Christians love and respect Jesus (pbuh), where exactly is the parting of ways? The major difference between Islam and Christianity is the Christians’ insistence on the supposed divinity of Christ (pbuh). A study of the Christian scriptures reveals that Jesus (pbuh) never claimed divinity. In fact there is not a single unequivocal statement in the entire Bible where Jesus (pbuh) himself says, "I am God" or where he says, "worship me". In fact the Bible contains statements attributed to Jesus (pbuh) in which he preached quite the contrary. The following statements in the Bible are attributed to Jesus Christ (pbuh):

(i) "My Father is greater than I."
[The Bible, John 14:28]

(ii) "My Father is greater than all."
[The Bible, John 10:29]

(iii) "…I cast out devils by the Spirit of God…."
[The Bible, Mathew 12:28]

Why did God made me then ?
I was gay ever since I was born.
I acted like a little girl, trying to be like my mom.
I played with barbies, and acted all girly.
But then, my mom got a shrink to help, and I started liking POWER RANGERS, soccer, and started acting like a boy.
After that, I prefered vicious snakes over graceful butterflies.
I guess I became boyish in a way.
Later in my life, I dated some girls and I only got far as ' french kissing'.
But, after I broke up with my last girlfriend, I started realising I'm gay.
Now, that I'm 15, I'm sure I'm gay, and I find men far more attractive than women.
Yes, God made ' women' for 'men' as it says in the bible.
Okay, don't give me a huge lesson, I've read it all.
The new and old testament. I'm jewish/ligh agnostic. If I will go to hell, as many religious fanatical wackos believe I am, why did God made me ? I tried being hetrosexual, it's not a choice, otherwise, I would become straight. I want help, can you help?

There must be an explanation for all the evil and hatred that exists and please don't say Christianity ,because Jesus taught to love your neighbor as yourself, the Bible also teaches that he that loves not abides in death, and those who hate will not have eternal life. Their must be an origin of such wrong doing, Christians believe it is the result of the fall of Adam in the Garden of Eden where they ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, indicating that they had no knowledge of it prior to the fall, but that knowledge of evil was learned or obtain by the act of sin when they followed Satan hence they learned rebellion or evil from Satan. Many of you believe in no moral absolutes, but most believe in good and evil. In your understanding where did evil come from, how can you explain the existence of the sense of right and wrong we have outside of that of a higher power? How can you explain evil? Did people just suddenly for no reason at all decide to hate one another

I am asking this as a serious question and I am NOT trying to be inflammatory. I often notice Christians answering questions regarding Paganism, Wicca, etc. will quote Biblical verses. The target audience would have to accept, like you, that the Bible is the infallable word of God for this to be an effective tool. Obviously they don't. So why do you think quoting a Biblical verse is going to carry any weight whatsoever?

*written years and years after the event took place
*it is sexist, racist and bias

A lot of the christian right wingers supported the WACKI IRAQI war, even though Bush lied! There was no WMD's, they didn't support the 9/11 hijackers, they didn't provide WMD's to terror groups, etc.

My question is-how many of you right wingers ACTUALLY GOT OFF YOUR *** AND PRACTICED WHAT YOU PREACHED-AND WENT AND FOUGHT THE IRAQI WAR??

Some of you are so willing to have Americans killed-to fight Bush's war-SURELY YOUR HELPING TO FIGHT IT!!!
