We'd have to be honest.

The Chinese Communist experiment outlawing all religion is proving to be a bit of a failure. After his death pictures of Mao Tse-Tung were seen hanging in taxis. When asked about it, drivers said Mao would protect them from accidents.
Here is an interesting thought on the subject:
The notion of a genetic inclination toward religion is not new. Edward Wilson, the founder of the field of sociobiology, argued in the 1970s that a predisposition to religion may have had evolutionary advantages.

Could be a good thing..
Afterall, if organized religion could save you, Jesus did need to come cause the Jews had organized religion down to a science.
So give that some thought and ask Jesus into your heart and tell him that you want his blood to cover the sins that you commit before God.
Otherwise you will join the very organized religions that you claim to disagree with cause every organized religion (no matter how large or small) is mans attempt to establish their own rigtheousness through their own self effort.
And you wouldn't want to be "self righteous" would you?
Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life and nobody comes to the father except through me". He wants to impute righteousness to you as a free gift, not as a reward for your ability to follow some man-made religion.

Survival. If you got rid of organized religion, you'd be in the tribulation (read the book of Revelation). Bad things happen during this time and people will fight for their own survival.

What a wonderful world it would be.
Greed has usually been the reasons behind wars, with the leaders whispering "god, country, etc etc" in the soldiers' ears to get them to die in war. The fact that many believe in a god that okays killing of other humans is why it keeps perpetuating on.

Then people of the world will look at each others as "humans" no more.!
I think earth will be a better place to live.
- Middle east nations will have no excuse to hate eachothers.
- There will be nomore "People of the God", and no more "Infidels".
- No blood shed under the name of a fairy character "GOD".
.. a better place it would be.

From my reading of Revelation (chapter 18) I have come to understand that the world's religion will be 'got rid of' as you put it. (There all false religion is referred to as Babylon the Great) This will be something that God causes them to do (same chapter).
After that and a few other events, a time of peace will come over the earth.

Hopefully nothing. Although people will always find a reason to kill each other. They just tend to use religion to justify it.
