Why did God made me then ?
I was gay ever since I was born.
I acted like a little girl, trying to be like my mom.
I played with barbies, and acted all girly.
But then, my mom got a shrink to help, and I started liking POWER RANGERS, soccer, and started acting like a boy.
After that, I prefered vicious snakes over graceful butterflies.
I guess I became boyish in a way.
Later in my life, I dated some girls and I only got far as ' french kissing'.
But, after I broke up with my last girlfriend, I started realising I'm gay.
Now, that I'm 15, I'm sure I'm gay, and I find men far more attractive than women.
Yes, God made ' women' for 'men' as it says in the bible.
Okay, don't give me a huge lesson, I've read it all.
The new and old testament. I'm jewish/ligh agnostic. If I will go to hell, as many religious fanatical wackos believe I am, why did God made me ? I tried being hetrosexual, it's not a choice, otherwise, I would become straight. I want help, can you help?

You are the way God made you, how could it possibly be wrong? My son is gay, for him it is not a choice either. It is most important for you to be comfortable in your own skin, accept yourself. God already has.
There are some people that will say nasty things to you, will tell you that it is a sin. Ignore those people, they are not trying to help you, they are only trying to project their own beliefs onto you.
You might want to find a therapist to help you sort all of this out.
Good luck to you. I wish you well.

Sir, you were not born gay, you may have play with girls toys back when you were very young, just like today some girls like to play with boys toys, that is why back in my time of the 1950's & 1960's we would call them a tomboy. Every gay & lesbians pick their own choice. Now you ask if you will go to hell. Yes, if you stay as a gay person, but you have not commit the unpardonable sin. The choice was yours all along, You chose to be gay, But you can still be saved & turn away from that kind of lifestyle. To give you some comfort that you can be saved & turn away from being gay. Read 1st. Corinthians 6:11 And such was some of you, but ye are washed, but ye are santified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus & by the spirit of our God. there is also many other verses I can use. But no-one is born gay or lesbians, they chose to be that, the only thing you were born in was SIN, But through repentance to God through Jesus Christ, you can be saved & deliver from this lifestyle.

This may not sound too PC but while you may not have a choice to be attracted to men, you do have a choice as to how you act on it. A lot of people are temped to sin in different ways but they are not their sin necessarily. I doubt that you will but I think you should go back to therapy and see how you feel. I am sure you know that even the Torah condems Homosexual acts so I am not going lecture you. It is something you have to decide. A lot of people struggle with temptations and it isn't because God made them that way. They world and original sin made them that way. If you are seriously wanting help then ask God. If he does something to help you then I guess you have your answer. Hey I have gay friends and I like them so don't feel like your especially weird or anything, a lot of people struggle with this. Hope things work out for you one way or another. Remember that you are still young and should wait a while before getting seriously involved with a man or a woman. Maybe just don't date at all and see how things go.
And I think maybe your mother forcing you too be "a boy" didn't help at that young of an age. It probably made you feel like you were wrong for liking girly things. Hey my husband took ballet and he is straight as they come. Society is telling you, or at least your parents that and have to like power rangers and squish bugs to be a man. Maybe you would have jsut grown up to be a gentle, sensitive less confussed man if your parents had left it alone.

The only hell you will be going to is the one you are putting yourself through. We are all people with different likes and dislikes and preferances. I'm overweight - does that mean I will go to hell because some people don't like overweight people? No. You have to know who you are, accept who you are and don't listen to all those people who say you are "bad". God (no matter what religion you are talking) made us all. We are what we are. Better you should be that than try to be something you are not. Be true to yourself and be a good person, regardless of your preference, and you will be in a good place, now and in the hereafter.

I know it says in the Bible that its wrong. So is lying, cheating, stealing, disrespecting your parents, jealousy, envy and so on. But here is another fact. WE ARE ALL SINNERS!!. If you take a look at the 10 commandments there is not a soul who has not broken at least one in thier lifetime. There is no such thing as a perfect sinless human. God made us all and he loves us all, and if we ask for it he will forgive us. He knows we are not perfect because he made us. I believe if we ask for his guidance in our life he will give it, he will also forgive us because he knows we are all sinners. Here is something to think about-The Bible says that only 144,000 will enter the gates of Heaven, yet if we ask for forgivness we will recieve it. So dont you think there is somewere besides hell for the rest of us? I believe that we should do our best on earth, dont hurt others, and treat ALL humanity with love and respect. Be kind and treat others the way you would want to be treated. I think that is all we can do. Do you know what I mean? If you see a hungry man and you have 2 hamburgers-give him one. If you see a woman out in the cold and you have an extra coat-give it to her. Be loving and good to all---I do not believe that any but the very worst of us will go to hell-and you are not in that catagory my friend. Just ask for his guidance then be still and listen.......Oh and Pray!!! I forgot to tell you about the awesome power of Prayer. It works.. Prayer has worked miracles in my life and I know it will do the same for you. God Loves us all........

I do not and will not believe in any form of religion. That said,I was christened as a Lutheran in 1967.When you look at life outside of all religious constraints you will come to realise that all people,(color, beliefs etc.),are in the long term people just like you with the same concerns about every day life.! If you choose to be "gay" this is not an issue with me.The only way I look at new people whom i have met is that if they respect me for myself then I will respect them for who/whatever they are. There is no option other than respect for your fellow human being!!.I know this sounds very political but I don't believe in politics either!!.POWER TO THE PEOPLE ASKING QUESTIONS!!!!!!.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11
9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,
10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
11 And such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of our God.
Notice that homosexuality is right there beside fornication, adultery, theft, covetousness, and drunkenness. Also notice that verse 11 says that all of the above people can be saved from their sin.
YOU cannot change being gay.... a shrink teaching you to play with power rangers cannot make you love a woman. But, if you ask the Lord and lay it at His feet He CAN help you change.

the truth is friend the bible never said any thing against being homosexual.fanatical wackos, who had nothing to do with the people who originally wrote the true scriptures, added all that fake conservative stuff in the 2nd 15th and 19th centuries. fanatical wackos now try to bring that into our culture today where it is totally irrelavant and try to say it is part of the bible. it's all about getting money for them and trying to convince modern culture that homosexuality is wrong or that it is even a choice. if i were you i wouldnt even listen to religon. there are to many people trying to corupt it.

Forget about the old and new testaments. You will not go to hell. Hell is a mythical place created by men to control people. You are already living in hell with all the torment you are going through. Be what you are and live your life to the fullest. And be sure to protect yourself from AIDS!
