Jesus planed it. he plained to get arrested. The finding that Jesus told Judas to betray him fits that. his Crucifixion to be later be let down and faking his death. to have his third and final act his fake resurrection.

20:1 Now very early on the first day of the week,1 while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and saw that the stone had been moved away from the entrance.3 20:2 So she went running to Simon Peter and the other disciple whom Jesus loved and told them, “They have taken the Lord from the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!”

20:15 Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Who are you looking for?” Because she 21 thought he was the gardener, she said to him, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will take him.” 20:16 Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She22 turned and said to him in Aramaic,23 “Rabboni”24 25 20:17 Jesus replied,26 “Do not touch me, for I have not yet ascended to my Father. Go to my brothers

...and please don't tell me about events that supposedly happened 2 to 6 thousand years ago. If He exists why would God not make himself known to modern man? Would he rather billions of good people go to hell than make himself known?

According to Hindu mythology, an elephants head was attached to the divine body of Lord Shiva's son and Lord Ganesha came into being? What is the spritual significance of this story? Is there some inner meaning to it? Are there any further details in mythology?

Have you ever had the very strong feeling that you are connected to someone that you haven't spoken to for a while, someone you have been close to? You suddenly get a feeling that they are thinking of you and the air space between you is different and charged with them. Sometimes they phone or e-mail you the same week, but sometimes you are simply convinced that you are on their mind...Do you think that we can connect through thought?

Atheists keep claiming they are experts at logic. I thought I'd give them a little test. The point isn't to answer whether the question is historically or scientifically true, but only whether it is logically true. Prove your answer using symbolic logic.

I'll even help. Here's how to start.

Let p = Confucius was born in Texas.

Let q = We are all vampires.

Let r = p --> q

Given that p is false, is r true or false?

In Judges (11:29-11:39) one of the Judges, Jephthah, strikes a deal with God.

God will help Jephthah defeat the Ammonite tribe. In return Jephthah will sacrifice the first thing that comes to meet him when he arrives home. God allowed Jepthah "a great slaughter" of the Ammonites.

When he gets home to keep his end of the bargain he is greeted by his innocent virgin daughter. Being a good godly chap, Jephthah proceeds do with her according to his vow, and kills her and offers her as a burnt offering. God makes no particular comment, and doesn't intercede as he did earlier with Abraham and Isaac.

Nice God, that Yahweh?

Can anyone explain to me the justification of this behaviour from an all-knowing, all-good, all-powerful God who would have known that Jephthah's poor daughter would be the one to meet him when he got home?

(and God is God and everything God does is by definition right and good is NOT a justification)

Across America, many local government meetings begin with public prayers but a Tampa city council meeting recently started out with members leaving because of the invocation.

Atheist Michael Harvey was about to give the invocation at a Tampa City Council meeting when some members became angry. A debate continued for nearly 30 minutes until three members walked out.

Mary Alvarez left saying she shouldn't have to "listen to an atheist sit here and tell me what I should or should not believe in."

Tampa atheists were granted permission to speak during the invocation after scolding the council for praying to "invisible men in the sky."

Harvey doesn't believe in God so praying for civic wisdom for public servants, the whole idea behind any invocation, was impossible.

Have we, as a society, learned that there was during the 1930s and 1940s, concentration camps set up in Germany, where over 12 million human beings were executed, and we know this from the tens of thousands of survivor stories,

Have we as a society learned this and how to avoid it from happening again, or will we suffer the propoganda of hate and fear in this century.

Who will take a stand against hate?

Let's say the entire sky changed to look like a giant face and a huge booming face said "I am your God... believe in me or perish"

I sure as hell would convert instantly.

Yet he does not do this. Supposedly he loves us and wants us to find him... but is unwillingly to do anything to prove his existance. He would rather attempt to see if we can find him on our own and if we can't... he says TO HELL WITH THEM..... that's not a sign of love.

Let's put it this way, if you had all the power in the universe and to save millions and millions of people from an eternity in hell, all you had to do was take 10 seconds and become a huge booming face in the sky and shout to the entire world you were God, would you not do this?

The only interpretation I have of this is this is a man or a woman who has been verbally abused and brainwashed.

As a human being I should tell this person I love you and accept you for who you are, but part of me says this man is a psychotic anti-semite with darkness in his heart, worthy of being on a "watchlist".

What would the Flying Spaghetti Monster do about this?

For they are quick to attack one who sincerely asks a question. On my questions that I've asked here, they are most vocal; and I can't help but to wonder what has turned them so against God. And what of my questions offends them so much, simply because I asked. As I see it, they have a right to their opinion of God; no matter how misguided they may be, so why attack me for asking a question wich is really directed to other than them... but for whatever reason they respond with attacking words as if that should bother me. It truly makes me laugh. But in my heart I hope that God would reach them before it's too late. But what could've to happen to such people to make them so miserable on the inside?

That can't be a happy way to live. Especially when they are trying to live on the outside of God's love; little realizing, that every day they awaken, is a next gift from God H.I.M.Self.

Here's my point:

When Jesus was baptized and God the Father said "This is my son, in whom I am well-pleased" - do you think that Jesus was talking to himself?

Immediately thereafter, when the "spirit descended upon him like a dove" do you think that God was descending upon himself?

When Jesus prayed to God the Father in the Garden of Gethsemane "Not my will, but thy will be done" do you think that he meant "not my will be done, but MY will be done"?

When Jesus says "I and the Father are one" is that "oneness" different than the prayer he makes to God the Father that "They may all be one as you, Father, are in me and I am in you, and that they may be one in us."?

How could Jesus be God if God was his father?

Read John 17:20 and ask yourself if it is 3 in one, or 6 billion+ in one.

I did my own research and came up with this: There is no Trinity.

Can anyone prove me wrong?

I'm a rational person and tend to rationalize everything. This becomes really evident when I read the Bible. It's more of a stumbling stone for me. I just over analyze and tear it apart...

Anyone else have this problem?

Anyone have any advice for me? I really want to get to the place where I can have faith and not worry about rationalizing everything!
