I am an Occultist and can tell you only what I have observed about the soul. I currently do not know of any specific shape or form. The only possible evidence that a soul has form is in ghost stories and such. The soul being visible is something I have experienced in a slightly different way then you mean above.

Seeing a soul is a rather simple thing. When you see a person give someone of less fortune a few dollars you have witnessed one soul acting on the best interest of another soul. When you see a young man hold the door open in a chivalrous gesture you have witnessed the soul of a young man acting on the soul of others. When you see a little kid ask their parents what the words in a song mean you have witnessed the soul of a child.

It is a common misconception that the soul, being so special is seperate from us in some way. The truth is we are trying to hide our soul in a bucket so it may never be harmed. Some would believe we are physical beings trying to have a spiritual experience. The truth is we are spiritual beings trying to have the physical experience. I sincerely hope I have delt with at least a portion of your question.

Hails to the truth,
Silence

The soul does have a shape and size. It is visible to those of a certain energy field (i.e. when you are dead). There are some great books related to this.
http://www.monroeinstitute.com/
go to this site. They work on out of body experiences so they know a lot about souls, shapes, sizes, etc... Robert Monroe has written a few books about his experiences. They are fascinating.
Sylvia Browne hasn't been out of body, I don't think and her experiences don't tell the whole story of the universe, so just know that that she is speaking about places with a certain energy field.
The movie the other person was talking about is called 21 grams. That is the weight of a human soul. Perhap it is less for a dog or something. Who knows! happy searching.

Obviously if i did i would have my own business trying to put these souls back into the bodies they came out of; or for a special limited time offer i would offer the souls a different body to go into but i wouldn't give a warranty because i couldn't guarantee that the soul would stay in the body. Either way you will probably have to die first to figure this one out!

Christians have a totally whacky idea of what the 'soul' is supposed to be. For the Jews of that time... including Jesus... the 'soul' was an enveloping emanation from the godhead that resulted from the community's relationship with god. The soul as a component of a human being (Christian view) is an artifact of Greek thinking on 'dualism'... which was incorporated into Christian dogma and lore by Gentile theologians, who were ignorant of Jewish (and Jesus') concept of 'soul'.

So... apart from the fact that all of this stuff is mythological nonsense, anyway... everyone's worries about what happens to their personal 'soul' are of no consequence... it does not exist.

The "soul" is just a concept that has been handed down from ancient times. It is the same thing as one's "personality". We could consider it as the software loaded in the brain. From this it follows that when the body dies, so does the soul. This view may not be in line with traditional thinking.

the soul is spread over the entire body.thats why one feels the pain when something hits anywhere on the body.the brain has material knowledge while the soul have spiritual knowledge which cannot be destroyed and continues to remain with the soul in all the birth.can you see the moble phone signals when they are relayed in air through satellite?can you see the power of magnets,.No only you can feel.So the soul is not visible but can be felt only just like air.

Yes, we all have a "seen" existence--both here & on the Other Side...here, most spirit entities choose a form you are familiar with--how you knew them--it waylays alot of confusion on your part...on the Other Side, we can change our appearance & still be known by all others as our Self...it is a much limitless place, and our eyes do not deceive us.

I have not personally experienced a person dying before my own eyes, but I do know that if you were meant to "see" such an event as you speak of, be thankful for your open mind & just as open heart to experience such.

My soul is 5' 4 1/2" tall, a little over weight, fair complexion, red hair, blue eyes, and everyone sees it. My wifes is 5' 6 1/2" tall, thin, fair complexion, brown hair, large grey eyes, and everyone sees her soul. The soul is the person, it is not something inside of you and is definitely not immortal. There have been cases where people claim to have seen someones soul leave their body.
I think it was a over active imagination or the
"need to see it" that made them see it.

Don't get me wrong I think there IS a soul,
I just don't think a human has ever seen one.
