I can preach at you with a gun pointed at your head, and you can even say you believe what I want you to believe, but that does not mean that you really believe it in your mind. So all this nonsense about "shoving religion down people's throats," and "forcing views on others," is just a bunch of nonsense that weak Christians spout out to make them look "spiritual." Preach! so that your friends around you will at least believe that YOU believe the Bible!

Is it a slow decomposition of your soul , viewing your memories one by one as they each fade away and you stedialy lose your individuality, your personality, and bacome dirt?

I am pretty much agnostic myself but I do have respect for honestly religious people. I look kindly on those that wish to convert me to their faith. My feeling it that they think they have the right answer or the ticket to heaven and they want to share it with me. What could be a nicer gesture?

I was wondering if there are any religions that don’t want converts.

Love is merely a survival instinct we mammals have in order to organize ourselves into protective groups(families).
God would have no need for such an emotion since he is immortal, and therefore does not need anyone else for his survival.

Why are all of you people who are saying terrible things even looking at these religous questions maybe its because you are looking for God and why do you think a person like me who is 22 years old and used to live a sinful life is now going to church and trying her best not to sin I mean I remember how fun sin is and what a great time you can have but all that will never measure up to what I have now a savior who loves me unconditionaly who I have a real relationship with is there for me when ever I need him and has promised me a place in heaven where I will live an eternal life in a beautiful place behond imaginable you can have that to just stop saying these things and start praying that God show you the answers you need to beleive in him your not going to get it here with that attitude. God bless you !!!

My baby was born with a congenital liver ailment called Biliary Atresia. She was an angel but suffered mostly from the disease that culminated 23 days after she underwent liver transplant (and 5 more operations after that) and passed away. I am her dad and liver donor. We are Catholics and live in the Philippines.

Can someone go to heaven without ever being part of any religious ritual? Never accepted Jesus, no baptism, no communion, no nothing. If not an adult, what about a child? How young would the child have to be?

If you could quote text from the bible, I'd appreciate it. I'm looking for people speaking from education, not emotion.
