Absolutely. It is the duty of a church to keep others informed on the other religions of the world. I would not just have a muslim, but representatives from all other religions that are big in your community speak at one time or another.

why not, the thing that is wrong with people now a days is that we are all racal profilers.
why must we judge someone or some bodies for what others in the same culture have done around the world?
wouldn't it be a better place 2 live if we can learn how each others differences can work together and share how we feel about the war that is going on, i hear people in the streets and how thses people will hurt us or our kids 2 get back at us.. We should ask for different types of religos people to vist our places, and they should also invit us & others, i would, because i am not affraid of what they might say, that others do not want to hear.

Man, I think that would be terrifically interesting. But I'm sure the people at my church wouldn't like it. But I'd love it. It would be great too if there was open debate. But the good kind of debate where people talk about what they think and how they feel but neither side is offensive--they just talk, and share and challenge. I'd absolutely LOVE it. But like I said, it probably wouldn't go over so well with some of the people at my church, and they might get embarrassingly offensive.

I'm sorry to say that these answers are no more than I'd expect. The arrogance of the Christian faith runs deep. Surely such solid faith would not be so threatened by someone with a different Truth.

Aw, who am I kidding. Anything that even hinted of listening to another perspective is considered horribly evil and damnning...xenophobia justified.

I would probably let a converted muslim into the church. Otherwise they might try to convert Christians to islam. I think that it is important for us to know about other religions so we can give better answers to them.

Have a nice day :-)

No. If we want to learn about Islam, we would go to a mosque.

I would only invite a Muslim to a Church to learn about Christianity.

In Singapore, we have a Religious Harmony Group that with all the faiths practiced here to ensure that each understands the others.

In the event of disasters, all the heads of these faiths will come together to pray collectively.

I'm not sure that would be appropriate during service.

I think it would be a great idea for schools to have a religious tolerance day. Have as many religions as possible come and talk about their basic principles holidays and traditions.
