Yes, if your selfish, poor-self-esteem-god demands it. every self-respecting-abrahamic-god demands so.

you should never negate another man's religion just because you think your religion is right, we have not resolved that problem yet, if only some christians would not insult muslims, and if only some muslims dont kill christians, we will all be relieved from the terrible worries of war
you see before i used to criticize catholics just because im a baptist, and i thought that would do me good, but if you just respect what other believe, and do your thing the world would be safer and peaceful , if you believe in God do the right thing stop criticizing or negating

No. It shouldn't be that way for anyone. No matter what religion or non religion you are you should still have morals. Adults know that it isn't right to pick at others and put them down. Teens should know it too but knowing and doing aren't always the same. I say that because I have a teen ager. Not all teens do that but some do.

If Jesus Christ said He was the only way to God....and other religions insist you can get to heaven by other means....why would a person who believes Jesus sit back and say nothing?
If there is only one way to heaven, would you like a friend to tell you about it, or let you wander down some road where you're going to find a dead end? A really dead end.
There's no need to be insulting...but there is nothing wrong with telling the truth, either. Over, and over and over and over.

It seems to be a custom, at least on R. & S.
Other than that it depends on the "religion". Many if not most teach the principle of compassion and forgiveness.
That means that we, as people with faults!!, should be looking at and acting toward others with compassion and not with criticism.
Love your neighbour, even if you don't agree. It's good for YOU!

Well let me ask you this if you were standing on a riverbank and you knew there was a waterfall up ahead a little ways and you saw say a child heading down towards the waterfall and the child didn't know about where they were headed wouldn't you call out to the child and say "Hey no! come aside over here let me help you out, you see you're headed for danger"

It goes far beyond custom. Intolerance is human nature. Religion is just another way for man to spread it. Brush up on world history and I'm sure you'll agree.
Hope this helps :)

2 Timothy 4:2 (New Living Translation)
2Preach the word of God. Be persistent, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, REBUKE, and encourage your people with good teaching.
.. IT DOESNT SAYS HERE TO INSULT... it says here PATIENTLY CORRECT.. but if still they doesnt want to be corrected then let them do whatever they want..
Revelation 22:11 (New Living Translation)
11Let the one who is doing wrong continue to do wrong; the one who is vile, continue to be vile; the one who is good, continue to do good; and the one who is holy, continue in holiness."
... hope this help brother :)

Not insult it... that would be immature. It is only natural to point out how other belief systems differ from your own, however. If you believe it is the way to God, wouldn't you want others to know?

No. absolutely not. We have different beliefs and we must respect each other's beliefs. The only way not to be offensive is not to discuss religion with others. There is only one CREATOR. And you acknowledge HIM by doing good to HIS creations.
