I've had Christian boyfriends before, but I have also been rejected solely on my religious choice, which I think is blasphemous. It shouldn't be my religion, it should be who I am. I'm only in high school, so it's not as if this is for life. My main problem is that I live in the bible belt, and there is only one other atheist at my school...and we didn't get along so well. Is it possible for me to have a high school relationship with a Christian and be happy?

Are the different numbers used in different tales actually referring to celestial cycles of the heavens and with that being said, why were these concepts and knowledge disguised as myth. Were they worshipping knowledge? Just an idea, any comments, disagreements...Try to get detailed if possible, I am curious.

And Why do you follow it instead of another religion?
Also, is your religion a big part of your life or just a small piece that represents you?
To feed anyone's curiosity, I am a Laveyan Satanist. & no I do not worship the Devil or sacrifice small animals. =)

I was wondering why people in the catholic church get a new name. So they have their birth name and then when they go for communion they get another one to add on? Is that their Christian name? What other religions do this and why? Does it have something to do with being reborn? Please excuse me if I am off base on this.

All of a sudden I don't feel like being a Christian anymore. I was reading up stuff on Judaism and now it's really just confusing me. I'd always said that I'd NEVER change my religion, but now I feel like changing. I also watched Joyce Meyer with my mom everyday. She was watching it just now and I wasn't really interested in watching or listening. Why do I feel this way??

Thanks in advance..

Is it said that there will be wars and strife because we are such evil creatures? Or because that will be the end result of man being
put against man due to the Earth changes, (earthquakes and volcanic eruptions), and that resulting in heat, drought and shortages?
Isn't it said that all will be made known to us? And we will achieve
a level of understanding that will create a brief respite, (moment
of peace), before the end comes?

It almost seems to me they weren't necessarily worshipping the mythological entities so much, but the wisdom, knowledge and insight related to the figurehead which they respresented. Possibly, the figurehead was put there to help this knowledge survive from word of mouth to next generations. Just a thought, any comments?

of a religious nature, regardless of what some would say, it boils down to religious or if you will, Holy Wars. How, from a persprctive of any faith, would the average person suggest putting an end to these wars? What can be done and how can peace be established. This is for all faiths. What concerns you about these wars over religion most? I personally believe things will be played out exactly as the Bible indicates, no absoulute peace until Jesus returns. According to scritpture, there will be one alleged world religion, what do think it will be? Why? How will this religion establish the (temporary in my opinion) peace? Also, do think that there is much love and concern for our fellow humans or is there more hatered and control issues ruling in the name of any one religious belief? Explain your reasoning.

When it comes to "minor" possessions, I read about Christian exorcisims and people being possessed by the "spirit of alcohol", the "Spirit of nicotine" and some where I read some racist guy was possessed with the "spirit of hitler". What is that?

A lot of people say they see a ''bright light''...
What do you think this is?

I am not saying is wrong to investigate and interpret every sentence in the Bible. There are many smart people who do that here that make me think.

But people who think that way are never going to believe in God if they keep trying to find solid proff about Jesus and God existence. No matter what information you give to a non-believer he is never going to be satisfied because his perfectionism is always going to find faults, not Truth.

Like someone said in another website:

"Where there's faith, there's no need for proof. Where there's proof, there's no need for faith. If God wants us to live by faith, why would he give us proof?"

Christianity is all about being tested with their faith.
