I have read many fascinating stories of people who had near dead or clinically dead experience were their bodies were on earth but their souls descended to the Heaven, and they saw God in his throne and He gave him another chance to live and suddenly their souls returned to their bodies and resuscitated.

The near death experience is reported by many people in various ways, and no one can explain it scientifically at this point- therefore the perception is real to the person describing it.
My husband had no such experience, despite during his heart attack, he was " clinically dead" 4 times. I warned him this was a " sign" he may not be on the right path, lol, and perhaps was going the ' other way" .
Quotes:
Experience description:
I heard the sound of the impact, like an explosion, my daughter was in the passenger seat, my granddaughter was in her car seat behind me, all of a sudden I was in this bright light, the feeling of complete inner peace we seek for so much in this life, was within me, I had no fears or wish to return. Then I was told, the baby must not die. I still refused to return, and again I was told , the baby must not die. All of sudden I was back in the drivers seat in my car. It took me quite a while to be able to speak about this experience. Eventually I did with my family and only one of my therapists that is helping me now from the last accident in 96, which I haven't recovered. I am a chronic pain patient, but when I want peace I bring myself back into the light.
Experience description:
I have had this experience during a coma due to an accident. I was unconscious but I remember a green hill and a road; I was looking at myself while climbing this road. At the top of the hill stood a magnificent and imposing “Arabian/Andalusian” door. What was behind that door was dark, black… but I don’t know if this impression is due to a post-traumatic interpretation or if it is a real part of the “dream”.
On the other hand, the power of the images and feelings of the first part (hill, road, door) and the weight that they had and still have on my life convince me that it was a rather uncommon “real dream”. I chose to come back, I don’t know what motivated that choice…
This “dream” has transformed me – radical change of interests, development of new talents – and the images are still within me, they come back from time to time.
Today, I have the feeling that this turning point event has a great hold over my life, over my sense of priorities.

ZetaTalk: Near Death Experience
Note: written by Jul 15, 1995
Near Death Experiences are quite common, and are similar to Out-Of-Body experiences, but with a twist. Where the entity has left the physical body, seeing the trend, it moves forward on its journey to return to the birthing envoys in preparation for the next incarnation. This process is complicated, and has many steps. The first step is to let go of the former incarnation. As every dying person has many issues left undone, many statements left unsaid, and many concerns not yet completed to the entity's satisfaction, their focus is torn between the life they are leaving and the future. The birthing envoys meet this head on, by presenting the newly disincarnate entity with those involved in the leftover concerns. Thus, in a Near Death Experience, an entity may meet relatives and friends, both loved and hated, or co-workers involved in incompleted projects. When the pending death does not occur, the person remembers meeting familiar people, but not much else as the death was aborted. Had the death continued, settling these leftover issues would have proceeded

You should visit www.after-death.com. There are many stories and conversations going on here by people who have experienced things (including myself). It's run by a research group. The conversations are usually intelligent and the stories are fascinating.
Personally, I can't explain what happened to me prior to my illness coming to a "head" so to speak. I was just left with the knowledge that we are not alone, God finds us no matter who we are and that we are all okay. There is no "one" true faith. That is a concept that humans created. The only God ever asked is that we have faith.
Everything in the universe is connected and everything (I do mean EVERYTHING) serves God. Even if we cannot see it- it still serves a purpose.
I didn't see a light-I didn't get that far. But my experience was different in nature. It was a wake-up call. I will never put it behind me and to this day, I use it as reassurance and a source of comfort.

I will ask the people I work with as they seem to be in a near-death situation every day and the only bright light they see is the light in the staff room at break times and holidays

Luckily enough, I haven't had a near death experience so far - so can't answer like you other respondents.
I did spend a lot of my youth reading Dennis Wheatly novels. Don't think too badly of that - I think that he had a lot of correct answers!
The 'Bright Light?' It is probably nothing more than an open mind.

properly, yeah, a team of them are ineffective now. a number of died previously: pal Holly, Janis Joplin, & John Lennon. yet another, Grace Slick, is in retirement with a uncommon affliction inflicting a number of swelling of the feet & no longer able to stand long in any respect. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, she purely positioned on an paintings tutor final wkend (although she wasn't there). I observed a pattern portray revealed in the newspaper, a self-portrait as Alice in Wonderland, & I enjoyed it. Like all human beings, she in all likelihood has a internet site; i've got no longer checked. the object reported she does multiple artwork of rabbits with the aid of fact she's been around rabbits lots. additionally, with the aid of fact the object reported, she's particularly stable, yet has a tendency to paint the flaws that sell. I heard the recent Jefferson Starship stay approximately 15 yrs in the past on the extensive wellbeing & cohesion pageant, the place i exchange into staffing an out of doors sales area. They have been particularly stable, & the lead singer sounded purely like Grace Slick. think of that!

In my experience, I met a guide and a large group of people. I only spoke with my guide but everyone else sent feelings of love and welcome. It was a wonderful place. I was very tempted to stay but I couldn't leave - it wasn't time.
In my opinion, its better not to rush for death but don't fear it either. Death is not the end but another part of the journey.
