I don't think I can do this cause of pi being 3.14.

I think my Bible might be broke cause if God wants me to build his temple I can't use the literal interpretation here of how to build a building using pi as 3 cause it isn't.

Heh, whats that Bible say about evolution vs creationism, is it possible that too is a metaphor!?!?

Specifically, what would be an Islamic view of the following words, which the Bible says were taught by Jesus:

"You have heard that it was said, 'Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.' But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also." (Matthew 5:38-39)

Under the law 'Eye for eye...', if someone does something to a person, then that someone should have what they did done to them.

Under the above teaching, if someone has something bad done to them, they not only don't do it to the person in return, they take on the 'penalty' that would otherwise have been applied to that other person.

Do Muslims believe this is an appropriate attitude?

What, if anything, would those verses have to say about God's attitude towards us?

I have just lost my niece few days back. She committed suicide suddenly, which is still a question mark for us. Whole family is very upset as she was a very sensitive and obidient child. She was just like a second daughter to me. My daughter is very upset as they were like real sisters. In life first time she has experienced such a big loss and have so many questions now. Your replies will help me to make her understand about life in a better way.

why do you believe in God....do you know that regardless of what you feel God still exists and plain to see

We believe that the wind exists, we never see it and somtimes dont feel it, but when you look out your window you know there is an invisible force thats causing the trees to move and its clear to see. Little movements may be caused by other factors such as squirells BUT you know the times when it can only be the wind. Just like this amazing universe is MORE than enough convincing evidence. DONT DISCOUNT THE OBVIOUS, its funny how science says the simplest explanation is likely to be the most probable

Our emotions can make us feel a lot of things hot, chills, physical heart aches but that doesn't there is actually something there to cause us to feel those things. DO NOT trust your feelings to determine what is true. The truth is truth regardless of what you feel.

Evolution is a theory yes, with evidence that we have that is used to formulate the theory, but since it is a scientific theory one could use scientific evidences to disprove the Theory.

Has this ever been done to your satisfaction to make you stop being an evolutionist?

Also, in order for the creationist view to be actual science it would have to be something that would be disproveable. Do you find the evidence "God did it I trust his word" to be something disproveable?
