explain this to someone who is truly interested, without having to read all the books and attend the meetings. The last time I asked this question, a few individuals got upset. Why can't this be explained without lighting someones fuse?

When Jesus was asked: Teacher, what good thing must I do to get eternal life?
Jesus answered: If you want to enter life, obey the commandments.
And then, Jesus added something more: If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me. (Mat.19:16-21, Mr.10, Lk.18).

So who ever says it by Grace on what base they dismiss what Jesus says him self? They think they know more than Jesus the way Jesus wanted them to be?

I know there are several passages in the bible where it says by Grace only ( or by acceptance) . So since every1 claiming there are no contradictions in bible than question is.
How do you determine which Jesus ( direct words) terachings to take or not?
Why those who claims by Grace only ignore the rest of Jesus teaching?

And Since Jesus saying obey the comandments which commandments if Christains saying OT god's commandments are not bound to them?

I'm an English Christian and no one I know believes in a rapture, and there is scant evidence of it in the bible. Yet it seems deeply immersed in American culture - it was even referenced in an episode of The Simpsons once.

I've seen it a few times around here that Buddhism isn't a religion, it's a philosophy or that Wicca is a cult. So what makes something philosophy instead of religion? How is religion defined? How is cult defined as opposed to what religion is?

They write questions and answers saying atheists are evil, sinful, sexually immoral, Jesus-hating Nazis when for the most part, they're the same as the Christians writing this, only more willing to question their own beliefs instead of just following the flock.

We're not your enemy, we used to be you and we fell sorry for you.

They defined Christmas to be on the 25th of December, the birthday of the Roman sun-god
They moved the Christian Sabbath from Saturday to the Roman Sun-day (Dies Soli), the holy day of the sun-god Apollo
They borrowed the emblem of the Roman sun God, the cross of light, to be the emblem of Christianity. Before this, the official symbol of Christianity was that of a fish, a symbol of the last supper
They incorporated most of the rituals performed on the sun-god's birthday into their own celebrations.

The world we live in today, wheter we want to admit it or not is tied to God in one way or another.Country's are fighting each other because of the God they follow. Each of which won't learn of the other's faith.Wouldn't it be better for everyone to know of the other faith's out there, that way we would know more about our neighbor and his faith.Instead of killing each other, why can't we learn and grow together?

Where do you get this idea. Please, give me some real examples of how Christians are spreading hatred. I am seriously curious as to how you conclude this.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to give a well thought out answer.

first of all Islam telling us to marry with just one women iff incase we cannot do equally justice with them

iff we can do then we are allowed it has a strong reason

you will find women population as compare to men is much larger

why becouse infant death record show us that female,s have more resistence then male child that,s why there survival chance,s are more

other male death ratio is higher then female,s becouse man work hard and risk his life to make money

in only america there are 7.8 million female,s
in russia 9 million
in uk 4 million
in germany 5 million in thailand
and many country,s generally women,s are more then male

suppose iff every man have found one wife for him but still million,s of female,s left alone what are there option,s to find shelter or security ?

would they prefare to be second wife of allready married man when she did this she will get same right,s same honor as first wife according to Islam....

or else

God would have made the heavens which He didnt speak to man how it was made. For earth He spoke "Let there be light" THEN there was light. Could it be that he spoke what was to happen in one week but actually did it in however old the earth is? day2 seperated earth from sea, third, made plants fourth, seasons, stars, and moon, sea animals then birds and finally animals. Then he meticulously made humans special. Isnt that almost the order in which scientist say the world was made? And they still have missing links to prove that humans come from Apes. Just because he spoke the word doesnt mean it will happen instantly. God says many think but they dont happen suddenly all the time.

gets in this section merely to condemn, mock, and insult that he or she is not really a true athiest, but still searching?

Note that I am not talking about honest and polite inquiry, but those who brandish the worn-out insults like, bible-thumper, non-thinker, stupid, irrational, naive, etc.

The speech behind that kind of rhetoric is so obvious and simple-minded in and of itself that true thinkers (non-believers as well as believers) dismiss it immediately. In fact, it probably helps to solidify the faith of the faithful and annoy the true agnostic.

Serious thoughts on this writing only please. Mockers, please don't bother - your very words will only prove to betray you.
