first of all Islam telling us to marry with just one women iff incase we cannot do equally justice with them

iff we can do then we are allowed it has a strong reason

you will find women population as compare to men is much larger

why becouse infant death record show us that female,s have more resistence then male child that,s why there survival chance,s are more

other male death ratio is higher then female,s becouse man work hard and risk his life to make money

in only america there are 7.8 million female,s
in russia 9 million
in uk 4 million
in germany 5 million in thailand
and many country,s generally women,s are more then male

suppose iff every man have found one wife for him but still million,s of female,s left alone what are there option,s to find shelter or security ?

would they prefare to be second wife of allready married man when she did this she will get same right,s same honor as first wife according to Islam....

If I could explain my perspective: Our political system calls for a seperatoin of religion and government.

I just hope you can tolerate us. The way I look at it, I respect your beliefs and beleive you should be free to do whatever you want, as long as you think the same thing about us. If we both do that, we can work together towards something posative.

I myself have a jaded outlook on relationships. IT works for some poeple, and others it doesn't.

The need to have a single partner may have come from the medical need to stop the spread of desease. In the animal kindom rarely do males stick with one female. There is a tribe in South America where the females have multiple husbands.

So your saying that in a culture where women cannot work, or otherwise support themselves, polygamy is a better option than letting them starve or live in destitution, or remain as victims of horrific crimes.

I hope some day your culture will allow for women to be able to honorably, and safely support themselves if they need to, but I do appreciate your perspective on this. So many people think you do it just because you're lustful, I'm glad to see that's not the case.

This is what I have the most trouble with Islam.

Alone they should be allowed to find their own shelter or security. They should be given the same chances as men to achieve what they want in their life. They should not have to rely on a man to have shelter or security.

And if Islamic societies created that for them, then there would be NO reason for polygamy. And if Islamic societies created that for them, there would be much less injustice and awful things done to women in this world.

(And this not a criticism I have for Islam only. It's for most religions, and many, many cultures.)
