I just think this is completely unfair when we should have this friday off until jan. 7 or 8 other places.

How would one research who use to live in your home? This sounds crazy or maybe not depending on what people believe, but my little girl sees a ghost in our house and can describe her. So how can i find out who lived in my home before me and the people i bought the house from? According the neighbors, they have not live that far back (1970) to help me out. One neighbor who has been next door for 15 years says, people came and gone here. No one really lived here long enough to get to know them. Please help

Suppose the world consisted of only the female sex and only a select few men were kept for purposes of reproduction - would the world be a less violent place or would women simply adapt and gradually become more aggressive? Would there be less cases of rape, violent crime/homicide? (Although I will likely offend people with this question that is not my goal. I am aware that women do commit crimes. HOWEVER, the percentage of women in prison for having commited a VIOLENT crime is far less than it is for men.)

whether my paper topic is what the professor is looking for...

for my FINAL paper my professor wants us to choose an episode of violence concerning american society. (example, a specific crime, an international event)

Does writing about, Media's violence and death's affect on children a good topic? Does it fit into what my professor wants us to write about? or my topic is not what she means by episode of violence in american society?

i thought of writing about how the Media is one of the major causes of violence and deaths within OUR children.

I always try to treat people the way I want to be treated. I don't think I could try to porpously hurt someones feelings if I wanted to. Why are some people so inconsiderate of peoples feelings?

My 2nd block class is a study hall. The students never listen to the teacher or do their work.

Today(well, not just today) they were talking about these videos and pictures online, where people torture or kill themselves or other people and animals, even babies. They went onto a website to look at these and they kept laughing at a video they described as someone jumping off a building and laughing at how grotesquely they died. I don't want to hear how they beat their dog with the butt of a rifle, or how these other people tortured a cat. I can't eat lunch after that class, it's disgusting. That website should be blocked, and these students really scare me.

Should I report these students? What we even be done about it? It isn't like they are harrassing someone or stealing.

ok whats the point. we work most of the time, we pay our rent/bills with the money, we go to the pub once or twice a week to socialise and we watch tv, play computer, or internet or possibly other hobbies to relax etc. surely their is more to life than this. if i keep doing this i will go mad and jump of a really tall building, i dont have the courage to do that though. he-lp!

Surely cultures are open to change and when in their cultural past did they have the ability to sail into antarctic waters with the equipment they now posess? One would have to hope that some things in their cultural past have already changed.

A member of parliament (UK) recently said that if we wanted to curtail pedophilia we should stop dressing our schoolgirls like hookers.
What red blooded man has never looked on an attractive nubile teenager without lust. (I mean the ones with all the curves in the right places, not kiddies).
I think girls should wear trousers. At this time of year it'd more practical anyway.

Why is it that men prey on young girls that came from broken homes?

Some of those girls only want a dad but they use that to their full advantage.

When I was 17, a freind of the family helped me out big time. I came from a chaotic household and he knew it because he knew my family well. He was 60 years old. He wanted me to marry him but at the same time act like I was his daughter.

I split when I had the chance right after I got the boost I needed. I wanted a father but not if I had to sleep with him and marry him. I then realized that I will never have a replacement dad.

I would like to hear some opinions.
