I work at a retail store, and they make me walk up to every customer, greet them, tell them our sales, ask them what they're shopping for, and basically track their activity through the store...giving them more clothes to try on, suggesting more things, etc etc...

ANyway, it DRIVES ME CRAZY and I know that I want to be 100% left alone in a clothing store unless i need help, in which case I'll ask for it.
My question is...do you like to be greeted and all that crap when you walk in the store or do you find it annoying and you would rather be left alone?

if you find the FACTS, you will know it's not as strong as alcohol, you cannot overdose, and no physical addiction so if you are weak minded, stay away. so why do you hate what you dont even understand? GOD CREATED WEED. he didnt make coke or meth, you have to add baking soda and other crap. I see it as a test to see if you are responsible or not. those who abuse it RUIN it for the ones who ARE RESPONSIBLE. yes, we do exist, I can quit WHENEVER i want. it's like ice cream. have it or not doesnt matter for me. been clean for over a month after smoking weed 2 times a day everyday. GIVE ME A GOOD REASON because i dont operate machinery, drive, go to school, cause public disturbance, smoke around non smokers, and i dont go to work high either. so you hate me? because i smoke? you hate your parents if they sip beer? why? it's legal? i dont think it matters. but give me a good reason.

I have a few friends I love debating with. One of our debates was about morals (it was related to political issues I won't go into). One point they raised was my moral belief is because of the culture I was brought up in. The idea being that if I lived in an Aztec culture I would think that human sacrifice is alright. If I lived in feudal Japan I would think boiling any non-Japanese alive was perfectly normal, etc.
My counterpoint to this is that if it is this absolute then the American Revolution never happened, the story of Moses is completely false (since he was raised Egyptian), and serial killers don't exist.
On the other hand there is some evidence that we are becomming desensitized to violence the more it becomes the norm in the media (all media).
How much of a role do any of the three have in our morality? I lean towards instinctive simply because there are some things I won't do that no one ever told me not to do, I just feel they are wrong "instinctively".

The refrigerator and microwave will not turn on now. No other appliances or outlets in my house are affected. The GFI outlet near the refrigerator does not respond. Resetting the kitchen circuit breakers has no impact. What is the problem and what do you recommend I do about it? I would try to fix it myself if possible. I'm worried about all my food spoiling! :( Thanks!
