I don't think most Americans perceive Australians that way. Do most Australians see Americans as self-absorbed, money-hungry people who desire to dominate the world?

No. I'm from Iceland and here people generally seem to imagine Australians as a laid-back nation, living mostly in cities and speaking with a slightly funny accent.

i've got in no way been, yet I actual have a handful of acquaintances who're from distinctive areas of england. i for my section want to flow and flow to because of the fact I pay attention this is alluring, although i are turning out to be some "real" attitude from my acquaintances. in many situations conversing, human beings adore the accents (i think of that's why you pay attention lots of undesirable impersonations). a number of the slang and words used are additionally very distinctive, and each so often i ought to look issues as much as comprehend what my acquaintances are conversing approximately! mutually as there are some nutrients dishes that are distinctive, i don't think of the variations are somewhat that drastic. a great style of yankee custom does come from Britain, in spite of everything :)
