Suppose the world consisted of only the female sex and only a select few men were kept for purposes of reproduction - would the world be a less violent place or would women simply adapt and gradually become more aggressive? Would there be less cases of rape, violent crime/homicide? (Although I will likely offend people with this question that is not my goal. I am aware that women do commit crimes. HOWEVER, the percentage of women in prison for having commited a VIOLENT crime is far less than it is for men.)

To those of you providing insightful answers, thank you:) ... and to those who have misread the question... I'm not 'male bashing' I'm only inquiring as to how women and society might change if the 'hypothetical' were to occur. To the rest... well, I would apoligize (again) for offending you but that would mean expressing an emotion and sadness, as we all know, is not rational nor logical!

I hope Im not the only man that agrees with this question because it is so true. The world would be a nicer place to live. Everything in the hypothetical question is correct and even if it does make a few guys angry when they read this, they need to stop and really see that there would be less war, rape, murder...

I don't think your question was offensive at all. Naturally if I were a male, I might be inclined to think otherwise. But it is an interesting scenario to entertain. I don't think of the world becoming more "friendly" per se...but I do think that their would be less violence statistically..yes. I believe that even though women are generalized to be the "weaker" of the two sexes, I don't think that most people consider the source of violence which I believe to be a derivative of a fear based mentality. Even though the male seems on the outside to be more courageous I actually believe that men harbor far more "fear" than women actually do...even though women tend to "express" their fears verbally more than a man would.
Fear causes people to do all sorts of odd, violent or malvolent behaviors. Males tend to act out their fears whereas women will continually express their fears. I do believe it would be a less violent society without men. However, it would not be a real world without them. I know so many great guys that enhance this world as do the women in my life.

Get some things straight. First, being guilty of a violent crime doesn't always lead to conviction of one. And women use a lot of coercion to manipulate men into doing the violent crimes for them. So it doesn't make them less violent than men simply because less of them are in prison.

Second, women will constantly feel it is okay to hit a man if they don't like something he said or did. That this is an act they'll excuse and feel is natural shows a general violent tendency in their natures. Also, women will turn on their own gender very readily if they feel they are in any way in competition with them.

It is propaganda that females are the kinder, gentler, less selfish, more nurturing, less violent, less deceptive of the genders.

The chief of the loose worldwide should not be chosen in keeping with who's male or female. this is in keeping with who's a real chief (not feminist). Do you even comprehend what number ladies human beings have prompted the upward thrust of our us of a? what number Governors are/have been women human beings? Senators? Congresswoman making rules? genuine, the great honor and distinction of President has not long previous to a women human beings. even although, I fell that's one privilege that would not belong to Hillary. That belongs to a female of sophistication, distinction, honor and dedication. a female somewhat like Eleanor Roosevelt or Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis who could take the region with dignity. in case you sense so sturdy, flow to college, study perplexing, advance into political in contact and run for President. do exactly not do any Hillary's.

Speaking for myself, I'd be crabby as hell and ridiculously unfriendly if there weren't any men around. I find them to be most useful and interesting, not to mention extremely recreational. Their absence would be highly stressful and horrible to even contemplate. I think women would just start vying for power and eventually their more violent and confrontational urges would escalate and we would have a far less friendly environment. Good question though.

First of all violence needs to be there as we need a means to express ourselves. Violent crimes do not happen for no reason. Whether its a lack of attention of one's childhood or a middle age crisis, it is shown that men have a more difficult time to express their feelings because of the influence of society. The absence of men will just create a power vacuum for something larger and worse to happen.

You just answered your question. Women would just adapt and will eventually become aggressive. New crimes will be known because women have a different view on crime.

The idea that women are less mean or violent is a myth. They're just smart enough to get the men to do all the dirty work for them.

I see your point. I think men are more violent simply because biologically they have more strength.

To use a stereotypical example, women spread rumors, men hit each other.

However, men are not worse than women in any way. I think the problem in both sexes is a lack of self-control.

No, I would think that women can be just as violent and with "breeding" strictly regimented, there might be some very aggresive actions occuring
