How can someone (whoever made that video) call America's stupid by citing Wikipedia? Wikipedia is not a reliable source; my professors throw out any work that uses that website as a source.

I, too, am discouraged by the lack of Constitutional knowledge of many of my fellow countrymen. However, Ron Paul and his supporters lack knowledge of the document that they pronounce they are protecting. They refuse to accept the 16th Amendment and Paul believes that he can write the tax code, when only Congress has the power to raise taxes.

I am insulted by people who refer to themselves as intellectuals and label anyone who disagrees with their "message" as ignorant, especially when they think that the Bill of Rights is the only part of the Constitution.

Please, read the entire Constitution before spouting off about freedoms lost and constitutional abuses.

As far as the intelligence of the Ron Paul fanatics; I don't think they would know if Christ was crucified or shot in an outhouse.

I think there is a point to it and it makes sense. The more I learn about some of the candidates the more I am swayed towards one. I do feel that we are being brainwashed and our children are being indoctrinated with things. I do feel that there are issues that are being presented to blind us from the realities that are happening. If we don't know we cant care. However, what can we do about? I do think we need to reclaim our country because our founding father would be rolling over in their graves at the things these politicians are doing. Our liberties are being taken little by little and we are too stupid to do anything about it. Well stupid may not be the right word but maybe we are scared to do anything. I think that the attack on our second amendment rights is a step to try to disarm us because if we are disarmed we cant fight back and take our government back. These politicians do this little by little because there is no way they could just come in and say okay you don't have freedom of speak or away give us all your arms. Let me tell you there would be hell to pay. We are loosing our country if we haven't already and we need to fight like hell to get it back and if there is a candidate out there willing to try then I will cast my vote for him.

I don't need to watch the video because I already know we're stupid. When Americans can name more of the Simpson's characters than the Amendments then that's a bad sign. We should have less focus on the media because it does nothing but pollute our brains. It prevents us from any intellectual or critical thinking and we are so gullible to believe anything we hear or see on TV or the news or the paper. More focus should be on expanding the mind and thinking for ourselfs and learning to questions things more properly.

Didn't watch the video, but in general I think people in the US are very intellectually lazy (really just lazy in general). Most people will drive 2 blocks to the corner store instead of walking.
In regards to intellect, so many people go to get a degree, but all they care about is getting the certificate in their hands - they don't bother actually learning anything, and graduate with a crappy GPA. It's embarrasing. We have access to so many things here in the US, including a good education, and people don't even want it.
