If so what do you do to get through it? I’ve been this way for as long as I can remember. I don’t touch doors/handles, I don’t shake hands unless of course I can wash immediately, I take a salsa class and it took more than a month for me to warm up to partnering because I was afraid to touch their hands. I can do it now but I still take frequent trips to the men’s room. But I’ve never been phobic to the point of dysfunctional.

Lately however, I notice that I am getting more “concerned” if you will, about cleanliness in general.

This weekend I had a pretty bad experience. I was out with some people who didn’t know me all that well and they decided to visit a gentlemen’s club. I nearly passed out. I wouldn’t sit down or touch anything, I was doing well until one of the dancers approached me and started rubbing my back. I think I lost consciousness for a moment there. No offense to exotic dancers but I was praying for a tub filled with penicillin.

I live in an apartment, so I expect to hear noises b/c of the thin walls, and I'm not one to really imagine things, lol.
I heard this startling noise last night about 9:30. The noise itself sounded similar to I guess if a woman with an lower voice moaning. It went down in pitch and lasted unnervingly too long. But what creeped me out was that it clearly came from the small hallway to my left, lower to the ground than I was.
Startled, I looked over to see what the hell it was, and my cat's head was already turned towards the hallway (apparently startled as well). Nothing was there, I left b/c I was so shaken, and went to ask my neighbors around me if they heard anything. Only my neighbor below me was home and he didn't hear anything, nor was he watching television. I've convinced myself that maybe it was my a/c or something so I can sleep lol, but I still get this chill when I think about it.
Ever heard anything that completely freaked you out??

Muslims why is it that in the arab world, mostly in iraq, afghanistan or pakistan, there are sucide bombers every day?
Because if i were a muslim i would never think of commiting sucide and killing my brothers for no reason. Why would an iraqi walk into a market or public place a kill his muslim brothers through sucide bombing and what impression are they trying to give everyone about islam?? If i belong to a particular group nothing will make me betray or kill a member of my group instead i will defend it. If you think closely about this it seems like almost everyone in the iraqi world wants to commit a sucide bombing because its not just the extremists that are doing these its also the normal people. Why on earth do you kill yourselves????

I did not grow up in England so I have not experienced this before. When at work, smoking is forbidden in the work area, but only managers and supervisors smoke there. When I complained I was accused of 'grassing them up' In the housing estate no motor vehicles allowed but black peoples scooters allowed but mine towed away because manager is black or his friends so blind eye turned. in AA Meeting I was told nosmoking but they even gave tobaccoand permitted smoking to friend or person theys
scared of, even tho someone complained. If I said anything I would be 'grassing them up' What is this unfair behaviour?

I'm just asking OK?
Would execution of the most serious offenders (and, may I add, the most costly to keep locked up) help to relieve prison overcrowding and save us a few quid in the UK?

Some criminals cannot be rehabilitated (Sicko Murderers -kiddie fiddlers - life means life etc) so why do we keep them?

The £100,000s per year per prisoner to keep them in solitary could be spent elsewhere saving lives!

I've noticed over the last few weeks whilst wandering round Manchester in our lovely stormy British weather, the women have small brolly's and the men have those huge like fisher men brollies! why is this? surely they're not a bothered as us about how their hair looks? Also a lot of them wearing suits and looking rather business like! Has the world gone mad??!!

It seems if you wear either one of these in the "wrong" place, you'll be bombarded by questions like: "Where can I find the shampoo? "Do you guys sell spray paint"? Or: "What time do you guys close"? I mean, doesn't anyone check for logos and name tags first? I was in a Walmart once, and a lady asked me if I worked there, and I gave her a snide remark. Soon afterwards, her son angrily approached me, wanting to belt me one. I just walked off. I mean what the heck? can't people read anymore? Another time (years ago), I was shopping in an Office Depot, when a guy asked me about something. I told him I didn't work there, and he kept on insisting that I worked there, and that I should help him. Finally, I walked out. What's wrong with people? Even if you tell them nicely, they still bother you.

When I see small children (between 3-8 years old) they play with other kids from different races and cultures and it's absolutely not a problem. But adults, who are supposedly more mature, can't get through superficial differences. Why is that? What changed?
