Why do you think baby boomers are selfish? They pay taxes that fund welfare for selfish young women who will not use birth control and get pregnant by selfish young men who will not take care of their own children.

First, not every person of that (or any) generation is identical to each other.
Second, among that generation more people have given more of their money, their time, their energy, their knowledge to making the world better than most generations.
I hardly call that selfish.

Their (our) parents went through hardships and tried to shelter us and give us pain free lives. Nice thought, but it backfired by making us feel we should have whatever we wanted regardless of the consequences for others, or even ourselves. I'm speaking of my generation in general, my parents weren't the type to spoil me or my siblings.
Now, why are there so many whiny and self righteous gen-xers? Is it a reaction to your selfish/spoiled parents? I wonder how the children of gen-xers will turn out...
