In the 50's we were a relatively homogenous nation with a strong manufacturing base, functioning institutions, healthy middle class, stable family structure, and international prestige.

Today, we have a Third World invasion, gutted manufacturing base, corrupt institutions, dwindling middle class, broken families, and international scorn.

Is this progress?

Definite: Which one that has never fought for the rights of there own on the job and around there residents, the young people has no true understanding on what the world is leading to there is NAFTA CAFTA and SAFTA.
There is one way to fine out write your congressman you'll

When men supported their family then it was right but now women are living in single household and supporting their children.

I've heard people say that if we get rid of all the guns, then we are only setting ourselves up for crime because if a criminal wants to get a gun and kill or rob then he will.

But how do you explain the success rates of countries like Australia and Japan, who have banned all guns and their crime rates have gone down?

last night , in wilmington north carolina, this was the question that the police asked four black men pulled over for a busted tag light after they explained to the police that they were picking up the driver's fiance to eat and then watch the basketball game.
two cars simultaneously pulled over the vehicle and after this brief exchange they immediately arrested the youngest member of the group on the "assumption" that he possessed drugs.
he was released after the search but the driver was arrested for an open container violation. the containers were taken from the back of the vehicle and were obviously old and not pertinent. the police left the open containers on the front lawn of the house (my house) this "crime" scene unfolded in front of.
they threatened to arrest all of the men at various times for "disorderly conduct" whenever they would ask questions to try and understand what was happening. the men sat calmly and were well maintained.
the police were unaware we were watching.

I was recently in a grocery store where there is a branch of a local bank. They were having a "free hot dog and chips day" for new customers. Can somebody help me understand why it's OK to give a perfect stranger free food if he opens a bank account - but not if he's homeless.

Recently we have seen a rise in people using the police force to file false charges and spread lies about others.

Is this okay? Does it cause harm?

Personally I recently left an employer who had a personal dislike of me. I have lived my life careful of my reputation and ethics. And, this employer gave me horrible references and lied in an unemployment hearing under oath.

I was out of work 10 weeks and my reputation has been harmed by careless and mean words.....Anyone????

As we all know, Brintey Spears is making her comeback. Well I recently have been gaining weight, staining my teeth, ect. Well here is what im going to do/ doing.
1. I am using whiteing trays to make my teeth white
2. I am growing my hair out and going to start getting it cut professionally instead of doing it myself
3. I am taking a multivitamin at night (no results yet)
4. I am tanning myself
5. Going to the dermitologist and having moles removed, pimple creams ect.
6. I hope to find a way to make the whites of my eyes whiter
7. I want to redo my wardrobe
8. Getting on a strict excersize routine
9. Improving my posture
10. Eventually get invisible alligners

Does this sound like a good plan for a comeback? The Alligners wont come until i can raise enough money.
I figured, why should Britney be the onlyone getting some work done? Mean while im enjoying eating what i want while I still can. Any suggestions or ideas?

Just wondering about what British people think about us. Do you like or dislike us in general? I know nobody likes our government and President Bush but what about the rest of our country, culture and people?

I quit smoking and havnt had any since..... But people who have never smoked dont understand and are ignorant towards it and just say 'they are killing themselves'. It is very insulting...One such comment I heard was 'who cares if they die, it stops over population'.

Also, whats the point in living without something you like doing? Most smokers love to smoke, I did. Just as people love to drink and feel 'loose' and party etc. Whats life without pleasures? Or is it that smoking is FAR worse than drinking, eating 'bad' foods, watching tv FAR too much, going on a computer FAR too much. But most of these people enjoy it.... Why are smokers being burnt on the stakes?
