Just wondering about what British people think about us. Do you like or dislike us in general? I know nobody likes our government and President Bush but what about the rest of our country, culture and people?

my british co-workers like to travel for a holiday to the US but they don't like the Americans because they are loud and over-bearing. I am of other nationality and I like the Americans better than the Brits for a lot of reasons.

I don't think any question like that can be answered in absolutes. Some like us , some don't, and some have no opinion either way. Probably much the same with US citizens for the British.
As far as our government being liked or not. I don't agree with many laws in the UK but I don't have to live there. I would guess any of the dislikes about the US government would be much the same. They don't have to live here either. So , mostly all of this is opinions and not necessarily good or evil.
