So, every time I hear people speaking against medical marijuana, usually they're pretty stupid, redneck-types who have no idea what they're talking about. And they always shriek: "Think of the children!! What example are we setting for the children?" Well, they (UNICEF) just did a study of 21 wealthy, industrialized countries, and listed which ones were best for children (in terms of various factors like health, happiness, risky behavior, etc). America came up almost last. You know which country came up FIRST? Holland. A country where pot is LEGAL had kids least likely to engage in dangerous behavior like drugs or sex. As opposed to here in America, where people are militant and terrified of weed, the study showed kids are more in danger. So, can we at least stop making this retarded argument? My red-state friends?...

TEXAS always tops! Every other state (or country) just isn't as great! We're just waiting for that frozen barren Alaska to melt before we become the biggest state again. We are the best, most incredible, most interesting, friendliest COUNTRY in the world! Each city is amazing and has its own character, and the history is very rich! God Bless TEXAS!

Second: Mississippi. Come on, it's the birthplace of Elvis. Ole Miss is a neat school, and Oxford is a neat town. Jackson is a nice small city with a growing arts and culture scene (and a good law school.) Overall, the people are very friendly and welcoming, and the scenery is very nice!

Last: Kentucky, for it to be so economically and educationally dismal, the people are very cold, sour, and think they are "special" (like "white trash with money!") The horse farms are beautiful. But, the eastern KY mountains are not pretty at all after fall foliage; in fact, they are really quite trashy. I lived there. I DETEST Kentucky!

These questions serve no purpose. Asking individualistic questions that require answers based upon someone elses opinion, doesn't answer your original question! You can't ask someone how many pushups you should do. You can't ask what's a good way to kiss, or what do guys like in girls, or what color should your new car be. Noone knows the answer besides you. Imagine if a drug company developed a drug treatment that is proven to add 100 years to your life with a cost of $1,000,000. How ethical would this be? Would it be fair that poor people could not afford it? How would you feel if you couldnt afford it? How about if you could? There seems to be a fine line where drug companies are out to make as much money as possible yet some of their advances truly do save or extend lives. My question exagerates current technology but is probably not so far off for future technology. I would also be interested in what you would do if the decision to ban or allow this type of drug was yours? What do you think would happen with such a difference between the lifespan of rich vs poor? How would it affect society?
