If I were ever in a "kill or be killed" situation, then I would have to be killed because there is no way I could take a life.

I guess it would depend on what I was asked to pretend to be. I could never pretend not to be a Christian, but other than that I don't guess there's anything that would especially bother me if it became necessary. I don't know how long I'd be able to keep it up, though.

Both would be hard for me to pretend I am something different,, because I am proud of who I am and what my religion is.

Normal. And if we, as individuals, want to survive, we need to pretend that it's normal to "want" big houses, fake wifes and husbands, blond kids, a dog that goes with your carpet and at least 2 cars. That it's normal to be bombarded by adds as much as Irak is bombarded by our soldiers. If you step out of the mold, you have a much harder time making a life for yourself.

i would definately stand up for my reliegion, even death, but i'm not sure, i would definately say it but i would have to see the circumstances. race isn't much of a deal to me, i think humans are humans. the most difficult thing for me to pretend to be... just a corny person, or like one of those characters that say like supporting stuff and uplifting junk like that

i think that's a pretty deep question. hmmmm... i wouldnt pretend to be another religon to survive... i dont think i could... it would be too hard. but a different race... maybe. im black, so if i had to be mexican, or asian, or white... i could do that.

to survive? of course i would. it would be hardest to be hindu or buddhist, cause im one of those "go out in flame and glory on the battlefield kind of people", and those two following are pacifistic.

I think I could give up my identity, physically/racially, but I'd never give up my religion (Christianity) because without it, I am nothing.
