I do this too, I act a certain way in front of school friends then a diffirent way in front of old friends and even my cousins. I've noticed this amongst people as well.

Actually do a lot of NBA players shave their legs. It's hard to tell but they're legs are always so clean lookin like they have shaved them. I know it's not really important but I just was wondering. They have great calf muscles and I love their legs so it's cool if they do. Whatever ..it makes them more visible to fans like me! Haha

What in the world is going on? My sister is getting married in April and being a traditional family, we wanted to throw rice as she left the garden after saying her vows.

But the groom's family informed us that the city has an ordinance against throwing rice at a wedding. How stupid is that? It has been done for hundreds of years!

Why is this prohibited?

I do not understand our culture of hate. Our acceptance of war, murder, assault, etc. It is truly unbelievable to me. Have we preverted some innate instinct for self preservation from our ancient past? We need to stop or reverse this horrible trend. I beleive in the end hate will be more dangerous to mankind and the earth than global warming and its dire outcomes?

The makers of Axe cologne are really going too far with this concept that Axe draws women to men who use it. The latest is that video with women in bikinis running through woods, down steep hills, and swimming in the ocean towards a beach where one man is spraying it all over himself.

Does such over-the-top marketing really sell this product?

My wife hates the smell. Anyone else agree?
Is there anyone out there that really likes it...

Does a man that buys Axe, already label himself as a player hoping to score? Do women check their man's medicine cabinets and drawers to see if he owns it?

Give us guys feedback about this marketing ploy known as Axe cologne.

I am ethnic,with origins from an island state, and I moved to the bigger America after I married a North American.
My in-laws love me as a whole, but my bro-in-law is driving me nuts. He seems to behave nicely to me,but I believe he's doing it only for the sake of his brother(my husband).His oppinions about our interracial marriage shows when he occasionally spits his steoretypish views in conversations. He looks annoyed and interrupts whenever my husband wants to talk about our future holidays in my beautiful, tropical country. He is always putting me down about the positive things I say about my country. He showed discontent about our future ambitions to invest in a business back in my country, which is a tax haven. His attitude was showing that he thinks my country is too inferior in every way!. My husband invited him on holiday with us to my islands, but he had many excuses. I get the impression that he wanted my husband to marry an American woman???

I admit that I don't get mountain climbing. While I admire the courage, desire, and motivation of climbers, I've never understood the "risk-reward" part of it.

The real question is based on the fact that people climb moutains in the middle of winter and sometimes need rescue. Of course, we regularly rescue others who have put themselves in harms way (campers, boaters, etc.) But shouldn't people who want to climb mountains in the middle of winter take out some sort of insurance against the cost of rescue, or buy a license that includes such insurance?
