The makers of Axe cologne are really going too far with this concept that Axe draws women to men who use it. The latest is that video with women in bikinis running through woods, down steep hills, and swimming in the ocean towards a beach where one man is spraying it all over himself.
Does such over-the-top marketing really sell this product?
My wife hates the smell. Anyone else agree?
Is there anyone out there that really likes it...
Does a man that buys Axe, already label himself as a player hoping to score? Do women check their man's medicine cabinets and drawers to see if he owns it?
Give us guys feedback about this marketing ploy known as Axe cologne.

I don't for a minute think it will get me laid if I wear it but some of them don't smell too bad. I think younger guys who don't know any better will be the ones bathing in it.

HI guy, hate the smell of axe morans would but the bogus commercials portrayal as a matter of fact teenage girls like the smell and wear it themselves,yes oh yes women check out men's bathrooms most men are not to much on house cleaning. For get about axe its all a bunch of bull.

yes, only if it's a little bit, if it's a lot i want to gag, i've been exposed to axe cologne since 5th grade

I don't like the advertisements, but I do like the smell of the cologne. It wouldn't attract me to a guy if he were wearing it; it would just be a nice touch. I don't like the over-the-top advertising, either.

I agree with your wife! It smells cheap! It's awful!
Let me add though....it would be interesting to have people post their age along with their answer because I am willing to bet it is more popular among teens...as it is a less expensive type.

Axe is terrible!!!! And what's worse, my neighbor doesn't wash his clothes regularly, so he just sprays it on himself. So , now when he walks by, first you smell, dirty clothes then stale Axe. It's disgusting.

Well I LOVE axe.....except when its used too much. It is absolutely the WORST thing in the world when guys spray themselves down too much.

i think it smells fine, but peopel tend to go overboard and thats what women usually hate about it.

YES!!!! I love the smell of the stuff. Accelorate and phoenix are the best ever!! Voodoo smells like **** though!
If a boyfriend doesn't use it I suggest it to him to use it. Or buy it as a gift. I don't check medicine cabinets to see if he owns it. If he owns it I know!! The smell oh the smell yummmm!!!!!!
Oh my god the smell drives me to wetness. I love the smell!!!!
There is truth in the advertising. It draws me nearer to a guy wearing it thats for sure!!!
I really really really like it. If a guy is wearing it on the street and passes me. Its like oooooh man and I would love to follow right behind the guy. lol. I don't of course.....but it does get me wet. I wish I could just grab the guy and say hey fella come with me. wink.
