I'm writing a paper on the Islam and the way they treat women. I've heard that its a myth that they degrade women and I've also heard that they do. In my paper I have to support one way or the other so what I need of you, is to state if you think muslims do or do not degrade women, and if possible give resources or give a legit reason why I should listen to you (i.e. "I have a BA in Middle-eastern reliegons and worldveiw from Stanford" or "I AM a muslim..." ) Now, if you are a muslim, please do not give a bias answer. I'm not looking to shoot down your beliefs or anything. Just a research paper. Thanks

Why would any aliens visit our worthless planet? There is nothing of value here. We have poisoned the air we breathe, we are warlike people with multiple wars all over our planet, crime, killing, sickness everywhere, greed, hate, violence everywhere. Who or what kind of aliens would want to visit or even make contact with a race of humans so hostile as we are? Even GOD i feel has abandonned our planet. There is no hope for us in the long run. We will destroy ourselves and go the way of the dinosaurs.

I just watched a commercial that suggests that residue from smoking on a teddy bear is dangerous.
Here in Edmonton, it’s illegal to smoke on a patio of a restaurant or bar. THAT’S AN OUTSIDE PATIO!
I understand people’s concerns about second hand smoke and even though I think that it’s bulls***, I see their point.
My core question is “Where is this latest ad campaign going to lead?”

School is charging 7, 500 for first year of college education at a community college. They said i have to stay at the dorms my first year and purchase a meal plan. That includes 2 meals a day during the week . Upon arriving to the US they informed me that the dorms were full so they put me in the over flow which is far from the school . They agreed to furnish transportation but its always late, and always late getting me to the cafeteria leaving me with 5 minutes to eat. Then i have to wait 2 hours to get back to the dorms. The dorms are loud and its hard for me to study. Even the liabrary is loud and no one seems to care. Someone has also broken into my room and stolen some things from there. What can i do, please help someone.

I dont think its really fair everyone thinks "MORMON!!" when they hear Utah.
I live here, and all non-mormons I know are ashamed to say they are from here because everyone categorizes them as mormon.
Why cant people look at the great things we have? Like the good skiing, and hiking?
Has Utah just gotten an irreparable reputation?
