Rome thrived while it was conquering new lands, and protecting its border.

Rome failed because of apathy and because they stopped protecting their borders and their citizens.

I pray that the America will remain a nation which has God's favor, but like you, I am concerned about the state of our welfare. I do think we are an apathetic people, with waning loyalties and devotion to our flag and our freedom. I am not concerned personally with the immigration issues as a prioirity, but I do think we stick our noses into wars when we are sadly neglectful of our own issues, like poverty, our educational system, crime. gangs, and our health systems to name but a few. We seemed to have headed to hell in a proverbial hand basket when we removed God and prayer from the classrooms. Now people are clamoring for the ten commandents to be removed from public institutions and there are serious economic and social issues that plague our country. I think the answer lies in the need of a great spiritual revival, a return to our first love. I hope you will join me in being a small light to share abroad God's great message of love and hope.

Its a done deal, and its the ACLU, our liberal minded politicians taking us there..., just as surely as if they sent every American on a free sleigh ride to hell.

Human vanity and pride is the sin that aided this catastrophe along

Well, we aren't plagued by barbaric tribes, our empire is not sprawling, we aren't actively pursuing territorial expansion, and we haven't had a decent legal orgy in years.
