Do they really want to be saved or do they wish to continue in their self- tribal destruction? If we went in and destroyed their cities and tribal leadership would they not survive successfully just like Germany, Japan, and a South Korea did?

I am traumatised. My closest friend has just declared an undying love for Jeremy Kyle.

She has made a scrapbook with 200 pics of him in, and wants me to move to Manchester with her so that we can watch his show being filmed daily.

The scariest part is that she is 28 years old. This is the first time she has developed stalking tendencies.

Should I get the white coat ready for her?

I walked to the local village a while back and there was a house with a lot of graffiti on the walls.

On the way back there was a police van parked outside of it with 2 kids scrubbin the walls-with 2 parents watching lookin extremly embarrased!

Do you think this is an appropriate form of punnishment?
It was actually a little funny to see!

I heard a talk that explained that people must have power before they can be ethical. starving people running for their lives cannot afford ethics. only the rich and powerful can afford to be ethical.
Maybe this explains crime among the poor? But what explains crime among the wealthy?

First of all, premarital sex for Indian Guys/Gals in some parts of India is totally valid. After gently reaching the point of discussion, how about X BF , n Sex et al; She wanna take 100% credit, & being fully proud of her virginity? no BF, no relations, in B'lore? thats hard to believe. I d like to know, the truth. God's sake if she cant trust & open up now, How would the relationship hold up? Comments welcome

Men, I need your point of view. (We agreed to chat via email first to get to know each other since his last relationship, he was hurt badly). I recently found out that he was in the hosptial of which I did not know until I rcv'd an email from him apologizing for the delay & that he'd been ill and in the hospital. All conversations were conducted by emails -- no phones or IM chat.

I write:"I wished I would have known so I could come up to the hospital and help you feel better and I'd be better at it than the nurses would be".

HE writes: "what would I have done to make him feel better", "the nurses did a pretty good job there".

I write: (trying not to get too suggestive (but concerned) since I hardly know him) .."Let's just say that there is nothing better than a personal touch especially when you're sick and in the hospital". At the same time, I am still interested in him.

Was I out of line? One says I should have responded like "bring you a teddy bear, etc.".

i think children should be smacked. not brutalised. just smacked if and when they misbehave. im from the carribean and we were smacked. their were no child murderers no children were going around stabbing, kidnapping and shooting each other. our childhood were great and yes...yes and another million times yes we were smacked....that made us realise we were precious....other peoples lifes were precious....i personnally rather a person clip my children round the ear than to ignore them if they were to be doing something harmfull to themselves and the were to die from that action. last but not least my children knows that when and if they were to behave stupid ...any adult in the immediate vacinity only have to say .....if you dont stop doing that i will tell your mother.

I have noticed recently all the joking references to the Red Sox curse, and it helps identify older material. They have an iconic place in our society and now their notoriety is over. I just read, ".. if there was no pain in the world, no Shakespeare, no Beethoven, and no Red Sox..." (Lee Strobel) or in Lost how Jack says "That's why the Red Sox will never win the series" Does anyone else notice this stuff now?? What is the new tragedy joke?
