Why do people say "so and so and me" instead of "so and so and i" now, when did it officially change?

Grammatically, it is still correct to say so and so and I. However, it's just not used by most people. It's one of those things. Some people also think you sound posh when you say I instead of me.
It's one of those things.

Using "I" or "me" depends on the sentence structure.
Bill, Bob, and I went to the store.
Jack took me, Bill, and Bob to the store.

Generally, the rule is if you would use 'me' if you weren't including another person, that's what you use and if you would have used 'I', that's what you use.
For example ... The boss showed (Tracy and) me how to do it properly.
and
(Kevin and) I decided to go to the town.

its suppose to cut a long sentence short when you don't have enough time to say what you want to say,phew,that's the quickest I have answered a question.

honey ppl jus say things in their own way. nothin has changed frm wat i kno but its jus how ppl talk these days...always addin something new or spicin it up
